Yes, RIP David, one of my favourite sports commentators.

I could listen to him for hours and, er, during those long Tours stages frequently did.
There's a whole screed of 'Duffield-isms' out there, but the very best was when Russian specialist time trialler Vladimir Karpets was shelled out of the back of the peloton halfway up a mountain stage.

"It's curtains for Karpets" declared David.

Priceless.
