Has the right to recall legislation been introduced yet?

I would imagine it would be easy to garner the necessary 10% of constituents to call a by-election.
The day is dawning.

Anyone see Joyce on Scotland Tonight defending himself? He ain't going anywhere and WILL see out his term as an MP. Taking greed, denial and arrogance to new untested levels. Despicable!

Oh dear, in the headlines again!
Falkirk MP Eric Joyce has been fined £600 for removing an electronic tag, in breach of a community order imposed after a bar brawl at Westminster.

Joyce, 51, appeared at Stirling Sheriff Court after he cut off the tag to take part in a parliamentary boat race.
No financial regulation, no corporate governance, no enlarged divisions, no summer football, no single ruling body, no new cash, no integrity. Behold the 'bright new dawn' for Scottish football,

Joyce should have his own show in the Edinburgh Fringe. Most entertaining!

It's not as if he didn't have previous either but the people of this town still voted for him. Incredible. Just shows the apathy of people in this country towards those that represent us, in my view.

What's the odds on a complete nervous breakdown. Just shows what a lifetime of Labour does to you.

Saw the topic "wreckless eric" and thought, great a discussion about good music then so disappointed to see it was about that contemptable fanny Joyce...although take the cash would be his favourite Wreckless Eric song :flame:

He HAS to be expelled from being an MP this time shurely???????

The only reason he didn't resign last time was to keep his MP's pension.

They can't expel him unless he gets a custodial sentence of 12 months or more.

Given that early reports accuse him of assaulting a Police Officer then a custodial sentence is a distinct possibility.
We're in the stickiest situation since Sticky the Stick Insect got stuck on a sticky bun.

That, and as an Independent, he doesn't have a Party to pull strings and 'have a chat down the club' about getting him off.

Cant see him escaping jail this time, and neither should he.

I think his pension's in the bag, £21,000 a year roughly for his 13 years as MP when he retires. Plus what he's skimmed from expenses. Nice wee shout.

VOTE WELSHBAIRN!

P.S. By the way, if I get elected I guarantee a small fourth stand with a beer garden on top. And only people who voted for me get admitted. And a Jumbotron telly (don't worry, I'll wangle it on expenses..).

Superb. Hope he's still a fully paid up member of New Labour.
