Haber has also been told that he can find a new club (released by Dundee) - here's hoping that the restraining order is in place to stop him returning anywhere near the Fife side of the Kincardine Bridge!

I'm hoping that Haber returned to Canada for Xmas and is currently planning on remaining there for the foreseeable.

Fingers crossed this is true. Pretty sure mckinnon said that any of the loan players could not be recalled or returned. If he is released then this will surely also end the loan agreement.

Has he been released though? Sounded more like he'd just been told he's free to find another club. I actually wonder if this ends up being bad news for us - Dundee obviously don't want him and won't be exercising the recall clause they had inserted, so unless we have the option to cancel the loan in January we end up being stuck with him for the season. Same with Sammutt. We'll end up getting burned on these loan deals I bet.

Has to be an automatic starter on Saturday or else another like Bauben and Doumbaya who are squad fillers and not what we need urgently.

I assumed he was a free agent and available. He was released in November by Grimsby Town.

Is Dixon another LB? :help2:
Does Haber have David Xausa as his agent? :joker:

I see Robbie Neilson has now thrown some of his players under the bus, after their result against Alloa. So we can now watch for McKinnon picking up some of his duds that he signed whilst he was manager of Utd. Add in that Utd will have more pulling power and cash than us to spend and I'm even less confident of us pulling ourselves out of this mess.

Alex Taylor was regarded as a Utd dud once.

Fair point, as was Gunner with Dundee, but over the course of all these years since Taylor and McWilliams were there, these guys we've mentioned were exceptions rather than happening on a regular basis.

Good good. Haber certainly one of the worst, and one of many worst, Falkirk players to witness in navy blue. Honking. Dunno about Dumbuya.

Dallison, bauben and Irving are next. Rumours of Dunne joining Sunderland as well

Think that one is going to happen. Not sure what to make of Dunne really. Looked quite promising in the 2 or 3 games he played when Hartley initially took over - he was probably the only pass mark in our customary mauling in Dumfries - then vanished as quickly as he had arrived on the scene. Don't watch the under-20s, but I've seen it suggested that he hasn't really stood out at that level, which maybe explains his absence.

However, it's pretty incredible that a player who has interested the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland has not been given any sort of a chance given the utter dross we have been forced to watch for much of last season and all of this. He could not possibly have been as brutal as Haber or Lewis or as ineffective as a Sammut or Irving. Then he's brought on for the final 20 minutes of a mauling by our biggest rivals when the game has long since gone, and just before he is apparently sold on. To top it off, I bet we use the transfer fee to pay off some of the myriad duds still on the books. Clusterf**k does not even begin to describe all of this.

Ah well the day has arrived. 1st of January is here and there has been a lot of knicker wetting amid the talk of 'getting to January' and see what happens. Well now it is time for the manager to start earning his money, cant hide behind the excuse of these players were here when I came. Understand that he cant bin them all (I wish after Saturday) but now he needs to step up and try to turn this almost imo certain relegation around. Confirmed 2 away already and one of those was one that never got near the starting eleven so was a waste of a wage even then so lets see who is offski and who comes in and if we change the style of play or formation.

A big, big month for our club for sure

I'm more interested in the outs than ins frankly.

Any scenario which leaves the opportunity for Major Disaster (Captain Muirhead) available for selection will ruin my January window!
