Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

After last week's result and the signing of Prince Buaben are we all sensing a renewed optimism for this game or was Alloa merely a false dawn?

Dunfermline are dug sh1t this season too. Anyone's guess how the result will go. Performance is more important to me just now. Keep taking those baby steps and we'll be fine this season.

So a big test for our lot. Will they maintain the positives from the Rayvolution or while they panic and take a pumping?
If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.

Is it pay at the gate or can I go to the club shop on the day for a ticket?

Still a bit numb after what Hartley presented us with this season, so beating Alloa doesn’t see me overly optimistic for Saturday, BUT the Alloa result will certainly have the Fifers doubting what looked like a routine 3 points for them...just like everybody else.
Beadling seems to be the one player they are relying on, and if Saturday is his comeback from injury game, he needs to be pressured from the get go.
McKinnon seems to be set on shoring up the defence, then using Petra and Rudden to hit fast on the break. Not sure the Fifers will subscribe to that, and I really can’t see them turning up to TFS going for all out attack (which they might have done a couple of weeks ago).
Expect their manager to be headed for the exit door if our rag tag team beat them. They will implode.

fifers at my work will be happy with a draw as they are gash in their words and i guess i would take a draw too as said before baby steps are all thats required at the moment.

Coming down for this one. Surely it has to be better than my last visit a fortnight ago vs DU. I think most of us would take a draw in the current circumstances

Hard to believe that the 22 on the park are at their work. It's their job!🙈 Though they contrived to score, both teams have been utterly dreadful.

Well, that was the WORST performance I've seen from Falkirk in a long time (didn't see the QoS game).

Dallison by far and away the worst player on the pitch today. Is he an actual professional player??

Team played like a bunch of kids, hit and hope, no cohesion, no challenging, no creativity, couldn't string two passes together, defending was non-existent. Last week's optimism disappeared. Looks like league 1 beckons, as I can't see this bunch getting out of bottom spot.

Hard to argue with any of this.

I heard again the chat at half-time that teams aren't much better than us but I'd take being as sh*t as them over what were watching at the moment!

It seemed every Falkirk player sat off and at one stage I thought Irving was out for a jog with a Dunfermline player as opposed to trying to win the ball back :x

To top it all off another Hartley master-stroke of allowing Hyppolite to leave came back to bite us.

Every player that was lambasted as not trying, past-it or not good enough I'd have over anyone in our squad on show today. Haber was an utter, utter disgrace but why do I expect any better

Think Ray boobed by bulleting 4 on Friday. That he got a "we don't care" performance from the team today, would suggest he'd have been better waiting till Monday to do that. After the game was out of the road.

This is going to take a couple of seasons to sort out & fans better be ready to give McKinnon time to swing things round. The quick fix attitude adopted by his predeccesor has failed miserably, through a knee jerk signing policy employed by his English Scout.

Utterly, utterly dreadful.

you would struggle to make a team out of both sides today.......by a large distance the poorest falkirk and fifer teams i have ever seen in all my 43 years following the bairns !!

If I were any of the four of them I'd seriously be considering giving it up. If I couldn't keep my job against some of this lot then you have to be really bad.

Also to add that this was the game that extinguished the lingering hope we'll survive this year. We are the worst team in the league.

Truly abysmal performance. No complaints with the result, could easily have been more. You'd think after getting the first win last week and with a noisey backing they'd be pumped but that was utterly woeful . Genuinely got to question whether some of these guys really care.

I like mckinnon, he comes across well but there was zero game plan today apart from hit and hope.

At one point, after another pathetic attempt at tackling, I saw Ray turn to the bench and say "He's absolutely useless". Needless to say I wasn't able to work out who he meant as there were so many to choose from.
How some of these guys have made a career out of football is beyond me. Think some of them need to realise that just because you've got a beard and sleeve tattoos it doesn't make you a footballer; Dallison, Haber, Lewis just f**king awful.
Is your child hyperactive; or is he perhaps a twat?

There was nothing out there today, absolutely nothing. Eleven empty shirts who just wanted to get through the game and get off. No point in picking out individuals, they are collectively the biggest bunch of dross ever assembled at this level since perhaps the Claude Anelka farce at Raith Rovers many moons ago. McKinnon could have walked into the dressing room at 4.50 this afternoon and emptied the lot of them and no one could have legitimate grounds for complaint. Can only hope that those in charge give him the financial scope to open up the redundancy packages to the rest of the squad on Monday morning. This squad, and this season is broken, probably beyond repair, and it's only the start of October. I'll be amazed if we are not starting next season in League 1.

Agree with all that’s been said.
Absolutely no skill on show. Our boys can barely trap a ball. Passing is way too difficult.
Just so so depressing .
I think we need to start from the back. Harrison and Dallison are just awful along with Muirhead. How many more years do I have to watch his attempts at passing to a team mate?
We are where we are. I’d try McGhee and Brough with Russell and Robson as fullbacks.
Heaven knows about the rest.
Actually, I can’t say any more just now.
Sorry!!

It comes over as these guys not only dont care they still dont appear to know each other absolutely dire and I can see only play offs if were lucky this season as best
