Looks okay with a good pedigree at League 2 level.

Happy enough. Reckon Hartley wanted to address the soft as hell defensive frailties of last season.
The guy still had a year of his contract remaining at ‘Pool, and like supporters of any club, he’s being given pelters for jumping ship.
Might be justified, and it might not be. You could claim the same for Loy if he moves on, but in Harrison’s case, at least he has been a regular rather than someone shuffling around on the sidelines.
There’s no doubt PH has employed a risky strategy, but it’s hard to imagine it being any worse than last season’s shambles.

The English lower leagues are TOUGH! Up against big strong guys and loanees from big clubs.

I think if you have a team full of big athletes and a decent manager in this league, you'd get top half the table, have a couple of quality players and game changers and you can challenge for the league.

The standard is rotten, so big strong motivated athletes can more than make up for the lack of skill. Look at Motherwell and even Livi, getting wired in, gets results,
I'm a bad man who doesn't waste time wondering what could've been when I am what could've been and what could not have been. I live on both sides of the fence. My grass is always green.

I don't know this guyand the other signings, but PH is trying to change the mould at Falkirk. instead of signing players that just go
round every team in the championship he is bring in diferrent types players, good on him. It might just work give them a chance.

Your correct olaf, just watched Iceland v Argentina ,a team of big athletic hard working players against a team of superstars
who had 72% of the play.this could be the managers plan,if so bring it on.
