Leo Fasan

Post by Duncan Freemason » Monday 11th 2018f June 2018 05:54:32 PM

I know absolutely nothing about how good a keeper he is.
Anyone out there with a bit of knowledge on the lad?

Another unknown for me, and that’s perfectly fine!

When we already have two keepers on the books, to sign a guy that has been at Parkhead for 7 years, with minimal impact, & has been released after a season at Killie, seems a bit extravagant.
No financial regulation, no corporate governance, no enlarged divisions, no summer football, no single ruling body, no new cash, no integrity. Behold the 'bright new dawn' for Scottish football,

We need more than 2 goalkeepers so not sure why it's extravagant. Mutch has talent but probably not quite ready for first team football and Mitchell is coming back from a bad injury.

Quite pleased with this signing. I saw him play in the champions cup vs Leicester and looked decent enough. Killie didn’t release him as such, he only signed a 6 month deal and he was a free agent. Good bit of business and healthy competition for places. Don’t want to get ahead of myself but Hartley appears to be doing all the right things. Excited to see who else will come in.

So much for him wanting an experienced keeper then. Hopefully Mitchell is fit for the start of the season and gets the chance to establish himself.

Good signing. Looked pretty decent when in for Jamie MacDonald at Killie last season. With us running a reserve team next season we were always going to need 3 keepers anyway .

You’re chronic for judging him. He played 3 games for Killie, give the guy a chance rather than judging him before a ball has been kicked.

Maybe read the post before making a complete clown of yourself next time. Killie fans have actually seen the guy play and do not rate him at all, a far more valid pov than the usual idiots on certain other forums w****** themselves into a frenzy over guys they have never even heard of. The "give them a chance" chat is just lame, it's perfectly possible to be willing to give someone a chance whilst believing them, on available evidence and testimony, to be a crap signing, as I do with this guy. Capisce?

If that's what you re going on then go and read the Bury fans forum they thought Fasan was decent and he played more games for them than he did for Kilmarnock.

My mate and his boys agree too. They thought he was just fine at Killie. Not top drawer, but as they said, “neither is McDonald”. They reckon he will do a good job for us.

Someone is a bit touchy. Looks like there’s enough well balanced opinions and “evidence” from Bury fans (where he played more) and from Killie fans our guys know to suggest he will be just fine. Has it occurred to you that the Killie fans on the forum may be just like you, over critical and quick to judge? I say give the guy a chance because YOU haven’t seen him play yet, I don’t think that’s too much to ask. You’ve read what you wanted to read and made up your mind without doing proper research. Capisce?
