Rumoured Redmond from Accies & Tam Scobbie! (I know, it was via twitter).
Would welcome Scobbie back.

I think we need a striker though.

On a different note Livingston. What are they doing so right that we are doing so wrong as a Club? They have next to no fan base, been virtually bust every other year, and yet they are on the verge of promotion via the play offs? Where have Falkirk FC failed where Franchise FC are ‘thriving’.
Yes please tell me the answer to this one. I mean it’s been a while since they were in the top flight however two back to back promotions would be impressive.
“Impressive” in the same way as Gretna were “impressive”. They simply run up debt and never pay any of it. It’s been going on since the day they came into existence.

Scobbie wasn’t even good enough when we first dropped down to this division.

longridge and Welsh gone too now.

with longridge hippo gone from last season and sibbald unconfirmed as yet we could really do with a couple of very creative players incoming this close season

Chat regarding longride was that he wanted more money than what he got last year due to loy being on a wedge. Cheeky bugger forgets that he was part of team that finished 8th.

If he can find better elsewhere then best of luck.
Might find the deal's no longer there, if he can't.

Would be interesting to know why Longridge and Welsh have decided to move on.

Longridge could possibly get a better deal elsewhere but I'd be really surprised if Welsh could. Someone said Welsh was offered a pay as you play deal, surely Falkirk aren't capable of being so clever

Welsh will be huff puff if “pay as you play” deal was all that was offered. Longridge has talent, no doubt, but inconsistent with it. He will have wanted cash that reflected his talent, not his inconsistency. Possible that the offer reflected both, so he wouldn’t have liked that very much. Possibly his sibling getting more at Livingston would irk too. If they go up, that’s where he will be headed.

...but László wasn’t one of them. Still scope for them to get it horribly wrong next season then.

Can see that happening. They’ll surely be in financial dire straits too with the Greengrocers vocal about wanting to sell up. Dark times ahead for them.

An American Investor in the wings waiting to come in and buy them out apparently.
Could be a dream come true for Utd, or an absolute nightmare.

Did they not get the "Amercian investor DUFC supporter" buying their training ground earlier on in the season to free up some cash, which would be payable back when promoted ? Effectively an interest free loan ! Is this the same guy spending good money after bad ?
Come the revolution......George will be first against the wall :D
