Would be more than happy with a 1-0 win. :thumb:

hopefully the same arrogance and confidence us carried to Tuesday and from the off our players go right at them to set out a statement that we have changed and are now a side to be feared again...

It’s hard not to get carried away given the result yesterday but I feel it may be a half step back for every one we take forward.

A cold night at Inverness is a different prospect so will be a tough test to our newly found confidence.

The most pleasing aspect for me is to see Sibbald get back to what he does best and create a good partnership with Longridge. They seem to complement each other well and hopefully will continue to do so.

It’s funny too reading all the hype about Lewis Morgan when you consider Sibbald is only one year older than him and shown just as much potential. Had Sibbald only had as much pace he’d be an even better player than him. As it is I think Sibbald is already just as good. He just needs to believe in himself more. It also helps that he’s now playing in his most favoured position. If he continues in this vain then other clubs loss will be our gain in the next 5 months.

Unfortunately pace is a necessary attribute if your to make it big in the game today. Sibbald has bags more skill than most but that lack of acceleration is one of the main reasons he's still with us as well as him constantly being played out of position. If he keeps playing like he has over the past 3 games though he'll be away at the end of the season I'd think to a lower league English side. With our option on extending his contract though at least we should get a few bob for him.

After a tremendous -9 C here in sunny #Perthshire yesterday, and similarly cold up north, it's a disappointing +2 C so far today.

A very tough game in prospect tonight, especially if we are missing Taiwo, McGhee and possibly Nelson. Would take a draw just now.

Yeh agree with that. He’s also looked at times like he doesn’t put in as much effort as he should but hopefully he feels he has a point to prove and continues firing on all cylinders.

Just going by who got knocks and needed replaced on Saturday.

Although I see from the OS that none of them are mentioned and that only Hippolyte and Gallacher are out. KO'H comes back into contention.

Didn’t take long for that “optimistic” bubble to burst. 3-0 HT

Two steps forwards, three steps back. Just when you had that wee bit optimistic hope that after Saturday we can kick on and get out this mess but hey-ho there you go.

Very disappointing after Saturday. Wouldn't be surprised to see us to go back to 4 at the back sometime soon unless we bring in cente halves that are capable of playing in a 3.

Hopefully Hartley has new faces lined up to come in as soon as possible.

Not seen a game since august 2012, but thought I would pay Falkirk tv the £7.99 to watch this game, what a waste of money, absolute garbage, no passion, no fight in the team, played like a bunch of strangers, the number of times Grant gave the ball away was astounding, his lack of pace is embarrassing for a young laddie, I've heard a lot about how good Sibbald is, I have just seen for my self why he still plays for Falkirk, no pace, no fight, and very little desire by the looks of it to try and change, I feel sorry for the Falkirk fans who have stayed loyal to this bunch of hopeless players and only hope Paul Hartley can manage to keep them up this season and rebuild for next season.

Didn’t post after Saturday, as one result was never going to be taken as a trend (no matter how good it was).
A midweek up there is never an easy prospect, and it shows that whatever we have that’s good and promising, it’s also very very fragile.
I don’t think I ever thought it was going to be sunbeams and rainbows overnight, so this showing didn’t surprise me in the least.
PH still has a lot to do to turn this around, and there’s still names appearing on our team sheet and subs bench that fill me with the fear.
On Saturday, it clicked. Tonight, it probably never even got out of the starting blocks.
Who knows what next Saturday will bring, but for the rest of the league, they will be happy to consign last Saturday’s display to the bin marked “ freak result”, and will once again see us as an easy three points. How Hartley stops our players from believing the same thing is just about the main challenge he faces between now and the end of the Morton game.
There surely has to be a few more that need to be unloaded ASAP.
