7 points adrift

Post by Falkirkfan6871 » Tuesday 28th 2017f November 2017 09:54:09 PM

Well looks like 7 points adrift after tonight and Livingston next in the league and they look set to go top tonight on the current score line.

Can’t see us winning a playoff relegation match so looks like Leauge one next season unbelievable.

Baird on the score sheet tonight it seems. Yet Falkirk let him go?

And atleast Inverness can score goals. St Mirren now winning.

Are you suggesting we should have kept Baird?! He was f*cking pish! Every time I've seen him this season - pish.

It'd be even more soul destroying watching the muck we've been subjected to this season with John Baird running about the half way line.
If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.

But would Baird be any worse than Loy?

The question is who will come to the club in sort this mess out. Loy looks likely to depart in January.

Even Loy not playing is more potent in front of goal than Baird.

We are 6 points adrift at the end of the night but at least we are still in the play-offs .

If only! He missed an absolute sitter at the death of the U20s game yesterday. The dogs in the street know his times up with us and I suspect he's biding his time until January and a fresh start somewhere else :-?

Perhaps Baird (and others who've departed) gave us something more than goals and which we are badly missing this year: attitude and aggression.

They're both sh1te to be fair.

You're on to something in terms of attitude though with Baird. He did graft. He's unfortunately just a horrendous striker.

Sooner we get rid of Loy the better though. Easy to say in hindsight but I never felt comfortable with resigning him in all honesty. Time to get shot of him (and a dozen or so others).

Thought Loy coming back might just work. It hasn't so time to cut the losses and release him asap.
A.P.K.A. - alba bairn. I don't know why they "suspended" my previous account? Ask them.....
