I've never been a fan of Houston....basically due to his mostly rubbish signings and his negative aspect of playing for a draw.

But...... the few development games I have been to, he was watching from the comfort (i.e. behind the widow) of one of the hospitality suites.
Come the revolution......George will be first against the wall :D

Houston at every development game was he? Was he fcuk. I go to pretty much every one and have seen him exactly zero times at any. Smith there every game, and I have seen Hartley there both when we played Dundee and the first home game after he took over.
Which only goes to prove that you're not very observant.

He didn't sit in the dugout or anywhere near it. At home he was normally either up at the back of the stand, or maybe halfway up, amongst a couple of the scouts or directors. Occasionally he would go up to one of the hospitality boxes and you could see him peering out though the glass, usually with wee Bobby beside him.

Trust me Alba - he was there. I don't know how well you can see the rest of the crowd from a seat in the stand, but from where I sit, on the touchline either behind the goals or on the far side, I can see everyone. And a 400mm prime lens lets me easily pick out faces from the other side of the stadium. I always checked to see if Houston was there and 95% of the time he was.

 Who cares?!
If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.
