According to the club no more deals are expected tonight.

Looks like Swansea have failed to meet our valuation of the player.
Or perhaps there was no bid at all?

Who were the club's queuing up again?
The poorest LB since Graham Hay.

He got a lot to learn certainly, but you’re way out of order

Give it a rest Kiddy for f*ck sake.

Tony G should be looking to leave as soon as possible - I'd be advising him to get out of dodge asap. Hanging around here will do more harm than good - the abuse some chuck in his direction is outrageous. Can understand fan frustration but Tony is a million miles away from being a key issue this season.
If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.

Agreed he is far from being the key issue, but just out of interest (and I'm genuinely asking here) has Tony G played in a league win for Falkirk yet?

Started 5 games last season and played and assisted 2 in a 4-1 away to Raith. Other matches were a loss to Hibs and Dumbarton and a draw with Ayr and Dunfermline.

He also played in the fiasco at Morton in the cup. The lad is not ready for this level. A Brechin City player who played against us two weeks ago was in my work last week and in discussion said they were instructed to put pressure on him at every opportunity, they seen him as a weakness. Said player also said if his coaching staff had noticed this every other team in the league will have too.

I was very very impressed with the games I saw him last season, this season he looks good going forward however seem reluctant to put a tackle in or prevent a cross getting in. last season I thought he looked the best young prospect coming out of falkirk I've seen in years and i believe he will come good.

he's playing in one if the poorest motivated and organised falkurk teams I've ever seen

Last two games he is getting back to somewhere near his form of last season. He was diabolical at Brechin. Diabolical. This actually cost us, as at long last Houston saw what was happening and pulled the wide men back (well Harris actually) to assist him in the second half. This led to us not having an out ball on that side, which helped them hugely in the second half. Up until the last two weeks he never (sorry NEVER) made a tackle or closed down an opponent successfully. If someone comes in with a big offer, bite their hand off. Right now he is not ready for this level of physicality. He is a good young player with plenty potential, but needs to be given a rest every couple /three weeks or so. He's played every game, even when he has been rank rotten the previous week. Why? Because in a team of 6 centre backs, he is our only left footed full back. Another reason Houston had to go. And another reason I question Alex Smith's role at the club. Is he not "technical director" or something? Doesn't that involve player recruitment to an extent?

Smith helps with the academy and has absolutely nowt to do with player recruitment. As with the other thread I cant understand why people keeping having digs at him. He works with the academy for hee haw and yet he seems to get the blame for every aspect of the club.

Agree with this. He is at every 17's match and evening training. The guy has incredible commitment and deserves his place within our club.

Just came across this video on YouTube. If his agent is approaching clubs with this then it’s safe to say he won’t be sold anytime soon.

Also what’s that music about!?

https://youtu.be/bOrYVREv1Bg

Time for him to be sent on loan I think.

The music's the best bit if organising I've seen with regards the lad!

Would gladly take 150k for him right now. The lad may have ability but on the evidence so far he lacks that determination compared to kingsley or recent signing robson. He just looks too afraid to get stuck in.

Right now, I can't see anyone taking a punt on him. A huge amount of work needed to bring him up to even Falkirk 1st team standards.

If this is true then I’d bite their hand off for it.

If they'd said Robson, it would have been believable.
