His last goal was vs Alloa on the 3rd of May 2016

It's not as bad as I thought but then again he's never been a goal scorer, even his prime. What we are no longer getting though is his influence in the middle of the park, his sure headness and ability to control the tempo of the game.

Taiwo's stats are:

14/15
Played 41
Scored 3
Assists 5
15/16
Played 27
Scored 0
Assists 2
16/17
Played 31
Scored 1
Assists 2

What's clear is that neither are particularly influential around the goalmouth. If we want to score goals it's clear we can only afford to have one playing at any time. Kerr can still contribute but he should be used sparingly and without Taiwo in the team.
Totally agree.

That's certainly pretty damning. It's as expected and there are plenty midfielders out there who won't contribute to goals much butbas you say you can't play both of them if you have any hope of winning games. I think the only formation that would work with both of them playing is a 4-2-3-1. They don't work in a 4-4-2 as it isn't as creative a formation as the former. I can't help thinking "what the hell do we know, we are just supporters" but when you lay it out like that the stats are hard to ignore and now that you've proved everyone's suspicions it's just going to make things worse on here cause every time they play together we are all going to be up in arms and quite rightly so...

14/15

Started 11
Won 5(Hearts, Livi, Cowdenbeath x2, Raith)
Drew 3(Rangers x 2, Raith)
Lost 3(QoS, Hibs, Hearts)

15/16
Started 15
Won 6(Livi, Dumbarton, Morton x2, St.Mirren x2) *Kerr injured 9 mins vs Dumbarton and Taiwo injured 9 mins vs Morton
Drew 7(Morton, Alloa, St.Mirren, QoS, Hibs x2, Raith) *Taiwo injured 39 mins vs Morton
Lost 2(Rangers, Kilmarnock)

16/17
Started 24
Won 8(Dumbarton, Raith x2, DU, Ayr x2, Dunfermline, QoS)
Drew 8(St.Mirren x2, Morton, Hibs, Dunfermline, Ayr, DU, QoS) *Taiwo red after 25mins vs Hibs
Lost 8(QoS, Raith, DU, Dumbarton, Hibs x2, Morton, Dunfermline)

There are obviously other factors that come in to play but it seems clear that we are progressively getting worse when they start together. Can someone please pass this on to Mr Houston.

A noticeable improvement when Kerr went off.
No financial regulation, no corporate governance, no enlarged divisions, no summer football, no single ruling body, no new cash, no integrity. Behold the 'bright new dawn' for Scottish football,

In the cup game they both started didnt they, so 2 starts this season together one loss one draw. Or am I even more befuddled than I thought I was?

Yeh that's true but the stats only considered league and playoff games. I dare say that it would be even worse in all competitions considering our cup runs have been poor and Kerr was tied for our run to the cup final in 2014.

Is that suppose to be a dig because it doesn't work! Never said Kerr should start constantly and certainly not with him and Taiwo together. All members of the squad should have time to try get match fit during pre-season.

Didn't want to believe you on this. At his age, he should not be playing that amount of football. We are in bother this season. I'm normally very optimistic but I'm finding it seriously difficult after the last 3 games. The only positive is that ICT, Brechin etc are in the league so we will be ok. If things don't change quickly then we can forget playoffs.

Just a wee bit! Pity Houston doesn't seem to notice.
