When is someone from the club going to come out and categorically state why Austin is not being given a chance in the First team

He's no improvement to what we have, have you seen him play? He has pace but very poor composure in front of goal.

One of these guys who get better with every game they don't play, when in reality he is no better than Shepherd and O'Hara. File under another Houston lazy signing.
I'm a bad man who doesn't waste time wondering what could've been when I am what could've been and what could not have been. I live on both sides of the fence. My grass is always green.

Olaf is almost right. He is still very "raw". I have seen some improvement from him but as he keeps getting only about 25 mins a game before his thigh injury goes again its hard to say if he'd be an improvement over what we have in the way of forwards in starting 11.

Positives:
Fast
Strong
Determined
Good partnership with Shepherd
Not afraid to have a shot from distance
Takes chances pretty well

Negatives:
Too physical (dirty) in some games and needs to wise up when taking revenge (step up Lee Miller and show him how to get even please).
Close control is very poor
For a big guy, surprisingly poor in the air (again would benefit from Lee Miller tuition)
A.P.K.A. - alba bairn. I don't know why they "suspended" my previous account? Ask them.....

Lets face it he's been signed as one for the future so I'd give him at least one season to settle in and get himself fit. We've got a lot of options up front anyway so there's no need to rush him into the first team. The majority of our problems lie in midfield and the lack of chances we are creating and the fact that we are very susceptible to teams who can break quick due to our severe lack of pace there.

He isn't a youngster, he is 23 next week! Almost a year older than Hippolyte, more than a year old than Luca and Sibbald who play most weeks!
