Holt claiming responsibility for the installation of our artificial surface. Can't seem to remember if this was widely known at the time :?:
"It enhanced our play" Could've fooled me. We're still in this division Gary.

Our pitch is clearly miles better than Livi's but he said it was the same. Made by the same people, maybe.

He got us closer to promotion than Pressley, Houston or Hartley. If it wasn't for Roberts losing the plot that day away to Alloa we would've probably won the league. Thought he did a good job with us and it was possibly his idea at Falkirk to have the 4g pitch

Don’t know if it was his initial idea or not but he was very involved.
I seem to remember him going to Holland to view similar pitches.

That's what he was talking about on the radio, saying he went over there for a jolly, expecting to say "no" but was so impressed he changed his mind.

Did he? He finished 3rd behind Hamilton and Dundee and got beat off Hamilton in the playoff semi. Houston finished 2nd behind Rangers and above Hibs and took us to the playoff final.

Correction, he got us closer to winning the league than any other manager. No one else got within 3 points

He got us within 45 mins of a final, then had his first team talk. :hammer:
