Hope we sack him. He could easily have ran over and injured/killed someone, he is not fit to wear the jersey anymore.
There is no over reaction here as far as i can see.

**** that, he's a scumbag for drink driving and doesn't deserve another chance.

Hopefully he gets immediately dropped from the bench and gets punted asap.

Calm down now. If it was Lyle Taylor, would you want him dropped and sold?

I suppose the laddie had a reason behind totalling his motor.

For once I agree with Toonbairn. This isn't really a big deal to me and some must be seriously struggling to reach the keyboard from their high horse.
If you're committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked because I believed it.

Yes. Otherwise it's being a hypocrite in the it's okay for Rangers but not for every one else mould.

The moral highground is a busy path on a forum....yes he's made a mistake, but he's young and been a fanny, goes with the territory!
He should get another chance but if he blows it we should take him outside and put him against a wall and shoot him!!!!

This is daft boyness. Looks like he's has 4 pints of Stella, don't think he's been blazing drunk.

In fact if he turns out to be the next Peter Cech, he should be allowed a drive around Falkirk as drunk as he wants.

Take it no-one on this site has ever made mistakes?

I'm sure the boy regrets his actions.
Nice to find out who you actually are, amazed how you sit and rip into all on here when your actually a bit of a fat geek.

Best quote ever.

What happened? Did he murder his girlfriend while she was having a dump?

Maybe that was just daft boyness as olaf says....
The bottom line is he was more than 1 and a half times over the drink drive limit and crashed his car. He didnt get pulled over with no harm done here, when he left the road he could easily have killed someone and ruined the lives of all that persons loved ones, i personally would jail these c**** 1st time round, send a message loud and clear, drink drive and go to jail.

Olaf, what a totally stupid comment. I don't care if he turns out to be the best goalkeeper of all time, you cannot condone this! And as Burgess said, hardly professional going on the batter on a Friday night. What if he'd run down your wife/dad/brother or whatever?

Get off your high horse, if we made laws on the basis what someone might have done to someone close to you, it would would be 20 years in jail for a punch in the coupon!

If he had 4 pints of Stella, he'd be fit for the bench the following day.

Yeah, ok then olaf, i think more people are concerned about his ability to drive a car while drunk, which he clearly was not, since he crashed it.

"everyone deserves a 2nd chance".....Why exactly ? and does that include peter sutcliffe and ian huntly for example ?

He was caught, and punished according to the law. Why should we impose a further punishment of our own on footballers, or do you think everyone caught drink driving should be denied the right to work?
