We've basically made an arse of it.

The stands behind the goals are far too big now.

Could/should have had similar to Airdrie/Livingston, which would have been adequate.
Spunked the cash on the Main Stand.
Airdrie and Livingston have a capacity of 10,000 - we're only 8,000...

St.Mirren's stadium is a joke.

I like the main stand, looks really good. Just wish it was closer to the pitch and north/south stands

Looks like you can pretty much forget any future development, with today's council results.
Never mind, well have a new Town Hall & bi monthly bin collections to look forward to.
No financial regulation, no corporate governance, no enlarged divisions, no summer football, no single ruling body, no new cash, no integrity. Behold the 'bright new dawn' for Scottish football,

I'm sure it was while the SNP had most councillors the last time round where the Main and North Stand were built. Then Labour and their ugly sisters formed an alliance against SNP at the next councils to create stalemate and the South Stand never happened for a while until our superfan stepped in. You're probably right though, Skiddy, there probably won't be too much difference in finishing the Stadium as the other parties will move to block. Hoping to be proved wrong. Safe terracing for TFS East side with a shed please. If Smeltic are allowed then so must we.
SAFE TERRACING FOR TFS EAST STAND.

Surely the east stand is up to us to sort out? I'm sure the council have more important things to spunk money on than a stand that will be empty for most of the season. I doubt it matters whose in charge of the local council anyway as the ground is ours and has been earmarked for development. Up to us to find the people interested in developing it.

As we now have a minority National Party led administration, any future plan is bound to see the resurrection of the "blast zone" by the opposition.

Need to build a stable for the Kelpies first then.
