Brockville Spirit Website Relaunch

Postby The Choir Starter » Wednesday 03rd 2010f March 2010 11:08:56 PM

Hi guys,

http://www.thebrockvillespirit.com/index

Feel free to have a browse of the new site.

Some brilliant never before seen pictures and classic matches not available anywhere else.

There are also interviews with Stainrod, McAllister, Parks and Baptie.

There are a number of downloads for your mobile phones and such like as well.

It's also the only place where you can download The Junior Bairns Membership form.

We'll be updating it regularly with new videos, downloads and interviews.

We have plenty of advertising space available...

Cheers

Keith

Yeah mate. It was dead, due to my poor moderation etc etc. I'm going to build a smaller one from scratch that can ge used to discuss events and ideas for the new stand as we will have the cash to carry out the ideas after the sportsmans! (Crosses fingers)

I think to be fair this one is different to any other Bairns site and has a better chance of survival if we keep it fresh...

Cool, Im pretty sure I made the last post on it.

I agree. Needs to be kept up to date. Releasing the content that is in the fanzine a few weeks later would be a shout. TBS was just starting to get up to full speed then the season was finished. Now that you have finished galvanting it should get back on it's feet in no time.

Hope so we've been working hard on it over the last month or so. Looking to host another couple of events before the end of the season...

Not that hotbed of topical discussion?
No financial regulation, no corporate governance, no enlarged divisions, no summer football, no single ruling body, no new cash, no integrity. Behold the 'bright new dawn' for Scottish football,

Walkin down some old railroad tracks
It may take a little longer

It's looking great Keith!

I've a few photos that were donated to me from Kilbowie that I'll fire over to you. I noticed you have a link to the old Brockville Spirit comboutique t-shirt site. It's a horrible company to have to deal with so I'll upgrade the shop to spreadshirt.net (better quality and cheaper), more importantly upgrade the shirts and get the link to you as well.

Do you still need ticket stuff? I've been snowed under since you got in touch but

It was rubbish, full of fannies who spat the dummy from here, what did one of your first posters say when utopia went online?

Time to shut down onef and pull the plug on the server, sort of comment ?
All these clowns are back on here, that says it all really.

The forum was pish, however your new site looks ok, well done so far.

The banter was as bad on both sites to be honest. The kind of crap that puts the brakes on most things FFC related.

Time to let it go Geeo :P

One is history, the other is still going, despite premature death knells sounding from the now deceased.
TBS forum = failure, nothing to let go.

That's the way it goes. I've reinvented it so we'll see what happens. It takes a lot of time to do things properly with a website and I rushed the last one and never really had control of the moderation. I'll be more hands on with this effort.
