Bit of a suggestion but shouldn't you just stop logging in and ignore this forum? That does amount to the same thing after all. They're not making you come on here against your will.

Are they not in contravention of the data protection act by not acting on his request? I'd assume retention of a person's personal data would be frowned upon. Especially when they've requested their deletion.

In all realness here, if you are wishing to have the account deleted I would just log out and leave it alone. I dont think any laws or data protection is being broke here. Facebook for example do not delete accounts they suspend them. The data is still there and probably holds a shoot load more personal data then what you hold on here.
