I'm gonna do this with lad, £19 for two return Larbert to Dingwall not too shabby. Return trains a bit shoot 16.37 too early, then next one 19.38, nearly 3 hours after game finished. Just need to be time spent in Mallard.

If you really want to get home a bit earlier you could stump up for a bus to Inverness after the game, if you didn't catch the 1722 train there's one at 1844. I'd stay in the pub myself...

Beat Celtic and the league cup final is the next day so this game could be postponed.

Ive booked rail travel to ayr tomorrow using this.

Hope TF that its on!

Saved a few quid on the standard return fare from Edinburgh

Even if you dont have a Sainsburys nearby (at the risk of Edinburgh snobbery - lets be honest, I cant imagine that Sainsburys have too many stores in Langlees or Tamfourhill) all you need is the code "SAINSBURYS12" when booking on the scotrail website. Its caps sensitive.

It's crazy the times of the trains from Dingwall to Inverness. I have driven to this game twice and got the train once. Although its the slowest train in the world it does allow for plenty drinking time. But when Inverness were at home to motherwell the train station for the 7.38pm was patrolled with police taking people's carry outs off them.

Back to my point about the train after the game, still can't understand why they don't put on a train the back of 5 to Inverness! Waiting on the bus felt like a life time. The train would be rammed if they put on a train for fans leaving after the game.

ICT don't have any game that weekend, making it a bit less crowded on the trains. :thumb:

If the game goes tits up, you can always get the early train & be back down here for 8.30 :veryangry:
Service buses will have you in Sneck, after the match ends, for the 18.44, getting you back at 10.
But if you wait on the next train, you're on the last one out of INV. Getting you down at ½ 11. :drinkies
