Phil Roberts

Post by Pete » Sunday 19th 2015f July 2015 02:22:08 PM

In the hairdressers getting my sons hair cut and a customer was claiming that Phil Roberts could be set for an emotional return.

Apparently houstie has been tipped aboit his availability by Hartley and is interested.

 Brilliant.

And yes - I know this is a wind-up, but I actually wouldn't be surprised if Houston signed this zoomer.

Someone asked him the question at a fans forum last year - would he re-sign Phil Roberts?

Houstie replied that we'd just played Alloa on the Saturday and were 1-0 up. Then PR came on as a sub, and Falkirk scored another two. :D

So no, he would not be signing Phil Roberts.

I suppose it would get fairly "emotional" were he to sign again.
Reminiscent of Kenny Ashwood's return, it would make that look like a picnic.

 I really hope that this is a wind up. The guys attitude is seriously all wrong and was terrible when he did pull on the navy blue shirt.

You cannot deny there is a decent player in Phil Roberts just his attitude that is all wrong.

Young managers in Holt and Hartley couldn't deal with him, maybe a more experienced manager could.

There has to be at least one plus point to having Houston as manager.
I'm a bad man who doesn't waste time wondering what could've been when I am what could've been and what could not have been. I live on both sides of the fence. My grass is always green.

I am certainly not denying that there is a good player in him, but he does need to have that stick removed from his ass first

Lets face it if having to drop down and play for the likes of Alloa wasn't enough to give him a kick up the arse then I would say he's a lost cause.

The best slam dunker I've ever seen. The NBA should have a few scouts at the stadium soon.

Mind you Vaseline never offered Tortolano a deal after pointing to his arse..
