Macdonald to Kilmarnock.

Post by farfawksake » Friday 12th 2015f June 2015 04:51:32 PM

Agreed terms and will sign once he comes back from holiday, according to the COYB fans page on fb, can't say i'm surprised nor saddened, least it frees up his wages. Had a great game in the Cup semi but would i say he has been brilliant for us?.. No.

Time for Bowman to be given his chance.

Meh
Awful things that can never be unseen:
Olive getting her paps oot in Holiday on the Buses
Thatcher on the steps of 10 Downing St 1979
Ross County 7, Falkirk 0

can't say I'm really bothered, he was ok but not great and no personality. i even preferred boaby in his early games when cross balls were so scary i couldn't watch.

MUST get a decent replacement keeper, or next season is a write off. Good keepers save you 12 to 15 points on their own. Poor keepers (Higgens etc) lose you the same.
Imperative Houstie gets us a good keeper.

He's been an average goalie, he cost us more games than he saved us :bang: Good riddance, i won't miss him :D

As for Bowman, i don't think hes good enough for the first team yet.

A good keeper but we've been spoiled by a lot of really good keepers in recent years.

If he does go we need someone better and more reliable than glug glug vroom vroom.

No real loss to be honest. What about Mark Brown released by Ross County or Cuthbert from Raith?

Have to agree with most posts on here.

A reasonable "shotstopper" (but then again, so was Boaby O), but some of his decision making was terrible and not the best at cross balls.

There are better keepers out there in our division and lower. Some of them are now available for signing.

Cuthbert signed a new deal at Raith. Brown is a free agent as is Marian Kello, Kyle Letheren may have been not a bad shout but he just signed for Blackpool. I always liked McGurn at Raith but he is part time and signed on again at Raith also.

Kello is mince, on a big wedge and hardly played this season.

The sooner the better Albatross. Need to clear out those who don't want to play for us and start a clean slate to build ASAP.

The quicker this is confirmed the better. Over-rated and over-priced

We need a goalkeeper who is going to win us games, not cost them. All I hear is how MacDonald was the main reason we got to the cup final. Bollocks! Watch the game back and tell me how many outstanding saves he made that day. I counted 1 and even that's debatable

He is out of contract so technically not a Falkirk player anymore time to move on.
