Re: Falkirk v Hibs - Post Match

That has to be Falkirk's most shining example of daylight robbery. I say it time and time again, you get what you deserve in football but we really have to thank Hibs for being sh1te when it mattered most. Another day and it would've been a 4-0 pumping but get it right f*cking up you Hibs! Well wor...

Re: Falkirk v Hibs - Post Match

Fantastic. By god did we miss a striker up front, no team can survive continually giving the ball back on the halfway line, but the rest of the team defended superbly. Sibbald is worth his weight in gold, Vaulks is the type of player every team needs, and Leahy is a quite outstanding footballer. Cra...

Re: QOS vBairns post match

Like most comments, really impressed with the team attitude on a horrendous night for football. QoS were equally hampered as both teams can play a bit. But its good to see a tough side as well, none braver than the ever improving Leahy putting his head on the ball without fear. Out cold, hope the yo...

Re: Will signs on until 2017

Delighted for Will, as he has been continually impressive in his time at Falkirk. Didn't he come to play for us for nothing originally in the hope of starting off a career in professional football? Heartwarming story these days in any walk of life, far less football. Luke Leahy is another who falls ...

Re: Syd Puddefoot

I vaguely remember my grandfather talking about Syd. My grandad played a few games for the 'Shire round about then.
Bought for £5k sold for £4k, some things never change.

Anyway, Alba - what did you make of Syd?

Yeah, and I wonder whose responsibility that is?

Still there mate -
Yeah Bobby, it's back now, but for us conspiracy theorists, it did disappear at an opportune moment.
Just hope Blair A is not on his way though....

5 Magpies on loan?

Wonder which club is paying their wages?
This smells rotten, shows what tricks are possible with dual ownership.

Re: What's the story with Morgan?

V good question - why bother signing him on loan when smithy and botti are getting brought on before him ?? V strange They all played for the U20's last week against St Johnstone, and both Botti and Smith were miles ahead of Morgan. Even though he scored, he didn't impress me, in terms of effort or...

Re: 2nd Loy Bid rejected

Just wonder what Accies fans think of their BoD.

Rake in £1m for a striker and offer £30k for a replacement, huh?
Would've thought Accies would come back with the £100k that Falkirk want before midnight, unless they have another target....oh, I see Eccleston got a free from the Jags.......

Our best - Sibbald & Vaulks?

There's nothing like playing well and being successful that spurs discussion... Well, before that fleeting moment disappears....I think Will Vaulks and Craig Sibbald are not only 2 of our best 3-4 players in the first team squad, but equally the ones that'll be catching the eye of higher profile clu...

Bairns out on loan

Lots of coming and goings this season, I can hardly keep track. And the Falkirk FC web-site doesn't provide that what I want to know. Anyway, here's list of our players who have gone out on loan this season. Goalkeeper Gregor Amos - LT Hutchison Vale (East of Scotland Premier Division) Defender Liam...

Beat me to it - outstanding skill from Sibbald, also highlights the value of winning the ball (Alston?) in their third of the pitch.

Re: Goalkeepers since 1960 !!

I recall Willie W playing for Falkirk, always thought he was a cult hero rather than top class keeper. How did that story go........when at Falkirk, he turned up for a transfer discussion with Rangers dressed in a pair of jeans. Short interview!

Ally Donaldson and Gordon Marshall were my favs.

However, what happened for the 1st Hibs goal, did Jamie mis handle?

Re: Hibs v Falkirk - Post Match Comments

Surely Collum cannot be blamed for the goal fiasco. The assistant referee raised her flag a full 60+ seconds after the ball hit the net! IMO, takes a lot of balls to do that after that delay. Houston's radio interview intimated she appeared to be right. Yes, I agree. I was sitting directly behind t...
