Re: Fraserburgh cup tie

No Rodgers for this game. Aberdeen don't want him playing and potential being cup tied if they were to re-call him.

Re: Fraserburgh cup tie

Play our strongest 11 and go for the jugular. Anything less than 3+ goals would be poor.

Re: Remembrance Edition programme

The programme seems to be in association with Legion Scotland so I can only assume that a percentage of the earnings will be going to charitable causes. Also, if it was solely for marketing purposes they would have surely pumped the prices up not lowered it if they were just looking for profit.

Re: I got a feeling

January we should be looking at a right back that isn't made of chocolate, A gritty, hardworking midfielder on loan to cover Taiwo since he is out for near enough the rest of the season (McGrandles comes to mind), and a long term replacement for the goalkeeper position.

Re: Falkirk V Hibs

Would love to stick it to Stubbs yet again. We have to start Miller, he will be buzzing after scoring the winner on Saturday and we all know the Hibees struggle with balls in the box. This is a defence that couldn't keep a clean sheet against Taylor Morgan as a lone striker. Rodgers Muirhead, McCrac...

Re: Post Pish Stained Hat sevco

Superb performance and were unlucky to go home empty handed. Beginning to think that due to the way we play, three at the back could be a real possibility for us. Good to see D Rogers looking a lot more confident and he made some great saves.

Re: Pre-Sevco

Houston should resign if we get beat off Sevco? I'm not sure if Olaf is actually a truly fantastic troll or he is actually being serious. If it's the latter then I think he should resign from the internet for a little bit.

Re: Pre-Sevco

Think it would be totally reckless to do anything other sit in and attack on the break against Sevco, they have too much quality going forward on the break. If we manage to stop their full backs playing and cut out some silly mistakes we could get a result. Dumbarton nearly done it. I'd go with: Rod...

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

I would have to disagree with Bula Bairn about us having no young players coming through worth speaking about. Blues, O'Hara, Finlayson, Blair, Gallacher, T Grant and Dick all look promising. Blair, Finlayson and O'Hara especially. I guessing you haven't been along to many development games because ...

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

So we either play well, get beat and everyone is raging about the result or we play s**t, get a result and everyone is foaming at the mouth because we didn't play well. You can't win.

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

I don’t think it’s a terrible comparison. Realistically, based on what I’ve seen so far this season we should be aiming for 2nd or 3rd with our competition being Hibs, QotS and St Mirren. We have taken 4 points from 6 so far which isn’t a bad return considering how we have been playing. You’re right...

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

It will be interesting to see the reaction if we go to Ibrox on Saturday play utter garbage but manage to grind out a result. I wonder if all the Falkirk fans at the game will shake their heads in disappointment as John Baird knocks in a late winner? Who cares if we just won, we played s**t, Houston...

Re: Pre-QOS

I really am baffled as to why Houston has put Lee Miller on and taken off the only player that would run in behind and support him. Tactics all wrong tonight. Shame as QOS were there for the taking.

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

I wasn't at Dingwall so I can't comment but at the Livi game he took a flying elbow to the throat and was definitely a foul and the one at St Mirren was down to Watson. The video from behind the goals shows Rogers gesturing to Watson at least twice that he needs to move forward, if he had done so he...

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

Sorry but Rodgers- good goalkeeper minus the mistake against alloa. Smith- improve tremendously this season. Cooper- still young and shows potential. Sinnamon- unlucky with injury and we aren't paying his wages so who cares. I'll give you Tudor Jones, Boulding and Morgan were all non starters but at...

Re: Ross County V Falkirk

It looks like I'm the only one that's not remotely arsed about this result. We had our cup run last year, focus on the league for now where, if I'm not mistaken, we are still unbeaten and look like a much improved team compared to last year. Ross County look like a decent side to be fair to them, le...
