I'd be interested to know how many were actually watched by Hartley or his team and not just accepted on the recommendation of the scout. I'd be surprised and worried in equal measure if any were.
Given that most were signed pre season, Hartley wouldn't have seen any of them.

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

It doesn't help when we don't have one defender who looks comfy enough to pass a ball out of defence. Everything is just cleared or half cleared. No Gerard Afjes, Cedric Uras or Murray Wallace.

Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

I get the feeling that the Dundee Utd fans want to take a hit on this game in the hope that it gets rid of Lazlo. He seems to be pretty unpopular amongst them. Whilst I fealt that their was an improvement on the first 45 minutes last Saturday, it wasn't as knicker wetting as some people seem to have...

Re: vs Ayr Utd :Post Match

Whilst we never looked to be on top the first half, we created a few chances and converted two of them. The first ten minutes of the second half would be crucial, as even my granny would have known that Ayr would come out all guns blazing. Keep it tight, and see the rest of the game out. Sadly, this...

Re: Hartley’s gone

As has McCall. Hardly surprising. Any decent manager might well take a look at that squad of ours, then match that up to our BoDs expectation of what can be delivered in a 2 year timespan, and say........”nah, but thanks for thinking of me”. You've hit the nail on the head. The lack of success is p...

Re: QoS 25/8/18

I expected a bigger reaction on here actually. This seems pretty subdued, after what was an appalling exhibition from so called "professional" footballers. The downing of tools by many, as early as midway through the first half shows that this group of players lacks confidence, self esteem and dete...

Re: QoS 25/8/18

Christ, where do you start with that! An utter embarrassment to call he selves footballers......and a manager. As bad as I thought it was in the first half, even I was unprepared for what rolled out in the second half. i can't believe it took Dobbies and Harkins so long to twig that our entire midfi...

Re: vs Montrose

Jesus! That was actually worse than anything they flung at us last season. Half the team looked unfit and a few overweight. Muirhead and the other central defender were trying to do a carbon copy of what the English defence did when Manzukic scored last week. My bro(who's a Livi fan) couldn't believ...

Europa league qualifiers can also be played on Tuesday or Wednesday, but yes, it does look like it could be an issue.

Re: Falkirk v ICT 14/10/17

If Hartley didn't realise how bad this team was when he first came, hopefully his eyes will be opened now. That was painful to watch. Totally clueless for 3/4 of the game, and the 2nd half was the worst part. Grant made Baird look like a thoroughbred until he actually tried pulling the trigger. Only...

Re: V Livi

Beaten by a team that were no better than us at all. No fight, no desire and no clue. Two dimensional(if you include just lumping the ball up to Miller). The club is rotten from top to bottom. It saddens me to say this, but maybe it needs us to go down, strip everything back, and start with the basi...

Re: Falkirk v QoS

Deeply worried as to where the club is going. First game of the season for me and we look like a rudderless ship. Not fair to single out any one player or department, as every player looks like a frightened rabbit caught up in a set of headlights.

Re: Get Houston OUT

Surely that's why you need a manager with decent contacts. Was never a fan of Pressley but he undoubtedly had better contacts than the current incumbent, as did Hughes before him which is very surprising considering Houston's job as a scout and assistant for Scotland before that. To me that's been ...

Quick update on the other Europa League game that's on the Thursday evening. Vasas FC v Beitar of Jerusalem is an 8:30pm ko at the home of Ujpest FC. Tickets go on sale this Saturday and come in between £4 and the ultra expensive £5. If you're feeling really flush, the VIP package comes in about £36...

Re: Budapest

Released some info via Twitter and Facebook, yet nothing on the club web page. Strange, as not everyone uses social media. It said they were trying to organise "something" for the Tuesday. Please tell me "something" is a football game. This whole thing looks to have been cobbled together at the 11th...

Re: Budapest

I'm only flying in on the Wednesday and if they organise a game for that day I'm screwed. I come straight off a nightshift, train to Glasgow, bus to the airport, a flight to Dusseldorf and then one to Budapest. Cut and run and I loose over £220 on flights and accom or go on my own and sit in a bar. ...

Re: Challenge Cup

Time for all the small clubs to grow a set of balls and tell them to ram it. More over, ram both these pathetic attempts at cups. Pandering to the needs of the OF as per usual.
