Re: How to stop the rot?

Although I expect the inevitable and possible justified ‘not interested in scotland’ and ‘**** the sfa’ Comments, isn’t it just another kick in the baws for falkirk/Scotland fans that the national team seem to have some sort of psychic **** up mentality. Sh1t defence, no proven goal scorer and just ...

Re: MMMMMMMMM Dennon!

Again exactly this. There must be proven goal scorers we can pick up at lower levels instead of looking at strikers who haven’t got a proven goal scoring record in the off chance they might suddenly start bashing them in.

Re: Who is Richard Mitchell?

YeAh very good point. The type of football is a massive part of it. I’ve always been slightly arrogant about the way falkirk have played. I relished and maybe wrongly the fact we got praised for our attacking style. It was mostly to our detriment and looking back what did we ever get from it apart f...

Re: Who is Richard Mitchell?

Yeah hindsight is a wonderful thing. But maybe a mix of both championship proven players and unknowns might have made more sense. Been a falkirk fan for 34 years and although there’s little chance of getting a stainrod or Latapy these days it would have been more appealing to me anyway to try and ge...

Re: Who is Richard Mitchell?

Agreed, but does anyone else get the fear when you think back to June/July and those ‘welcome to falkirk...’ posts...all that positivity down the sh•tter! Was it this seasons ‘our time’. I’m glad for one I did t do my usual and boast about is signing as I was a bit more cautious than normal. It’s no...

Re: St Mirren v Falkirk

Sitting at half time thinking, well we're Falkirk and these days we rarely put up a come back. After the equaliser in thinking saints will prob score again..expect the unexpected! Great result and like the Dumbarton game one we would have probably drawn or lost last year.

Re: Post Falkirk v Dumbarton

Due to the amount of games we've played recently I'm happy enough we got the win. But I think we all expect better and really not the type of football I could handle watching regularly. Too many aimless long balls to a front man who was running about all over the shop but it was a pretty thankless t...

Re: when houston goes

aye,was talking to an English guy who works in the same company as me but down South. Hes got a mate who manages Chesterfield(I think). He said one of the issues he has is that a lot of players who are out of contract - either them or their agents think they are Billy Big Balls and think they should...

totally agree witht eh above. I'm feeling p*ssed off with this season btu can't wait til tomorrow. With Falkirk you really don't know when the next Hampden event will happen and c'mon it is only Hibs we're playing! Strangers thigns have happened in semi finals..just ask Brazil. COYB

talking to an English guy at work about Sevco. He was saying surely their 'demise' has been bad for our game and couldn't see why people were gloating about it so much.... the only perspective I could give him was after spending all my school days getting grief for being a Falkirk fan whilst most of...

Re: Improving the Atmosphere at our Stadium - What can be do

its a depressing situation right enough -plus i can appreciate the younger folk getting frustrated by us auld yins bleating on about Brockville. For me the big thing is being behind the goal and so far away from the opposition fans. Part of the joy of being near the away fans is you create an atmosp...
