Today's Press Release on Availability of Substantial Funds

The news item on website will no doubt generate a few questions like: Is this a statement of intent by our board? Has McKinnon already earmarked players both to sign & to exit? What does this mean for those on the board who presided over the mass turnover of players in summer? Could we avoid the spe...

Re: How to stop the rot?

Olaf I believe you are looking for a bite so happy to oblige

you have stooped yo a new low with that
remark

Think it if you have to but sharing it lacks
class

Whilst not the best era to be a Bairn
surely things are redeemable if we will have a bit of patience

Re: Signings on the way

I think we now have a very balanced squad Witt strength in depth to see us through to January Believe patience is called for now & that we recognise that these guys particularly the younger crop up from England need to be given time to settle locally & we as fans have a big part to play to encourage...

Who is the missing number 5

Noticed on the club video going round the dressing room that the number 5 jersey is as yet unallocated.

Wondering if this means we still have a defender to come in ..........the missing right back possibly????

Re: Aberdeen Friendly

CR I went along on Wednesday with Aberdeen supporting friend (he came in our end) and both he and I would concur with the positivity of your posting. My mate who lives in Falkirk was impressed by us and could well be tempted to come along to see us this season. Personally speaking I really liked the...

Signings on the way

Could it be that PH & the board are listening to the impatience being communicated in some on line fans fora???

Personally speaking I appreciate the sense of calm assurance by today's message on official site

Re: CEFN DRUIDS Match

This is becoming a new tradition, the pre-season fixture screw up. Nearly as predictable as your own negative narrative perhaps Olaf...... :hammer: For what it's worth I feel that the club acted in good faith with planning this & just unfortunate if it needs to be cancelled for a competitive altern...

CEFN DRUIDS Match

I see that they have qualified for the preliminary round of the Europa League and matches to be played on consecutive Thursdays 28th June and 5th July which must put our friendly fixture in doubt

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

I wish the boy all the best & believe he has the resilience to bounce back from the trough of recent months where as others have commented he has suffered from the deeper malaise of the working environment he was forced to operate in. The previous manager of our club in his insistence to persevere w...

Re: Morton (away)

Understand from contacts in Swansea that Blair has been playing deeper sitting midfield so suspect we might see a diamond formation with 3 at the back - Personally I would go for following Goalie - ??? Watson right , Taiwo sweeping, McGhee left, Blair @ siting mid, Tumulty. Robson Sibbald Longridge....

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Absolute nonsense Hartley! Signing Ryan Blair yet another nice, tidy player. Need steel and power! How often have you seen him in the past 2 seasons? Exactly Dade Olaf whilst many of the points you make have validity feel you are at best premature here..........a box to box midfielder over 6 foot.....
