Well, it didn’t take long for the optimism of that statement to wear off....
It's an absolute joke isn't it?

Re: Dumbarton Away

I'd just like to compliment Brian on a valued 14 year posting career on here.

But every time I see "Scrimgeour" mis-spelt I die a wee bitty. :(

Six games?
The season has been rank rotten surely you don’t want extra games
We've already played three of them...

I said that to my pals after the QOS game and was quickly dismissed. I'd love to say I hope I'm wrong but don't actually give a monkey's anymore, as the team clearly don't.

Re: John Lambie

Came in to the managers job at completely the wrong time for us. That he left a safe job in Maryhill, showed the depth of feeling he had for the club. That it didn't work, & the outcome, is probably regrettable on both parts. Can remember his Accies side that left everybody trailing, back in 86, wh...

Someone recently jokingly Christened him Louis XIV.

This is about right as he has one good game for every fecking 14 he plays.

Re: falkirk v Brechin 31st march 2018

Yes, agreed. Surely instead of trying to play centrally through a 6-2-0 formation the idea would be to get it wide? Harris on the left, when he can't use his left foot to cross is stupid. He cut back into traffic 19 times out of 20. So he should have been wide right to stretch them and get balls in ...

He's been out injured since they lost to DU at home a month or so ago.

He's still touch and go for Tuesday. Hopefully he'll miss out.

Re: The clear-out

Am I missing something here where has the 40 players come from? On the website I can see 27 players 14 of them I think are in the development squad I think. Do they count in the 40? Don`t rely on the web site for anything. It is well out of date. Rubbish. It's bang on when it says Alex Parker shoul...

Re: The clear-out

Ricey guessed at "nearly 40", Kent then took this to "more than 40".

I'm now raging we've got almost 70 signed players tbh.

International Call Up

No, not Alex Harris crashing into the Scotland squad, but Conor Hazard has been called up by the North of Ireland.

Well done him.

Muirhead was fine. Several good interceptions, and really only sclaffed a couple of headers. But he's the go-to scapegoat, so...

Longridge, pass for goal 2 aside, was horse. Tumilty too. Blair improved as things went on. Nelson MOTM by a mile.

At least if Sibbald leaves we'll get money for him which you'd hope will be invested back in the squad.
I thought the window for getting any cash expired after last summer?

Edit: because of his age now.

Re: revised season expectations ??

If you're going to go out (which every team, possibly excepting Morton, would have done to us) then you may as well get a big cheque to ease the pain.

As long as we don't get done for 6 or 7.

Re: Falkirk v Livi - League Duty

By my reckoning Big Pete had the ball more than any other player today - and Lavvy just let him have it as they knew he would not be threatening with it. In fairness there was bugger all to aim for apart from LL as Nelson never kicked the ball all day (he was diabolical let's be honest) and we sat t...

First game for me since the Challenge Cup debacle in Inverness, and... we were just as bad.

My man at the DU and ICT home games tells me we were miles better in them but jeezo that was torture today.
