Re: Houston - get this clown out...

The board made an enormous error in caving in to Mays blackmail of giving him the job or he'd walk. And Pressley? Even worse than Yogi. At least Yogi built the teams he built his ego upon.

Re: The EX-Bairn Files

Still lost though. A player with an attitude problem an another who left for more money and killed a promising career.

Aw, shucks.

Yogis luck always runs out. Luck and the ability to talk a good game.

Plenty of careers founded on the above.

Re: Botti for Swans

Houston, like Holt, would rather not buy players and blame a lack of options, than sign to his budget and have nothing to blame his own failures on.

Re: Season Tickets

You can carry on worshipping the lazy manager, until he signs a player that improves the squad he inherited. He was be a lazy fool to me! Explain to me, because I'm a bit thick, how you can spend a year scouting for Celtic all over the world, and decide to sign David Smith, Tudor-Jones, Taylor Morg...

Look forward to another season of underinvestment in the team. Thats us stuck with Hibs and Rangers next season. Bottom end of the playoffs will be the budget again. :x

Cup Final. Gate receipts from the playoff game gets pooled and then split. 50% goes to the league and the rest to the teams that took part. Entirely possible to make a loss depending on turnout.

Re: James Keatings

Housty will be all over this. To be fair I thought Houstie was all over things like a tramp on chips when he signed the lads who haven't delivered for us this season... Hopefully the board will help him sort things out in the close season and we will be at the forefront of the race to sign the qual...

McDonalds for the off at the end of the season. Houstie is bringing in players now to have a look at them. If the reserve player makes the step up, you'd be daft to go with a youth player as his back up in case he bombs. Trying to cover the position.

Muirhead will surely need a few Development games under his belt first? Mind you, Dick can hardly be match fit himself.

Re: Blair Alston

I've heard nothing about this in Dundee. Heard plenty about how happy they were about signing Loy. Tried to point out he'll be back to his old form soon enough. Mind you, this is the same Dundee support that were happy at the signing of Roberts.

If he's choosing to retire, I'm not sure there is a liability. He wasn't injured playing for us was he? I was under the impression it's a long running issue.

Re: Rangers

Classic fascist tactic that. Get the fans back on the boards side by telling them everyone else is out to get them. That's part of the problem, they'd rather spin it to keep the "tiny minority" onside rather than root them out and shame them. It's a club founded on and steeped in bigotry and that wi...

One major honour in 32 years as a manager. Sums up the state of English top flight managers, right there.

Myles Hogarths mum worked at Hallglen Primary when I was growing up. I'd have had her in goals before her laddie.

Marshall and Parks are the first two I can remember.
