Re: Do we need cover for Kerr ?

Agree having seen him that Blair has the skill and strength but it is Kerrs auld heid that is most missed. He knows his game and the game of his opponents

Great at heading the ball.
Brilliant with the Ayina Napper!

Re: Post Falkirk v Dumbarton

French Forward Ayina been offered a contract and is awaiting international clearance according to Falkirk Herald. Which part of Central Scotland is Getafe Olaf? If he is half as exciting as our last French striker it would be brilliant

Re: Post Falkirk v Dumbarton

Was working till 7.45 so missed the first 15mins! Did we really score two goals? It did not look like it from the game I saw. Was impressed by Dumbarton going forward. They will get some good results this season if they keep that up. Thought Smith tried hard to get involved and is much better than l...

Re: Good start to the season - but

They give us good backup but a poacher is what is required. Baird was immense against Partick but we still could be doing with a foil. McHugh perhaps but I would like to see him with big Lee

Re: Partick vs Falkirk post match (belated)

Solid and workmanlike which you don't find us being often. Houston has got it right earlier this season and we appear to know what is expected. Grant is excellent. He defends like Yogi and is a potent threat at every set piece. Seems to have good understanding with Watson so Cracks can sit and watch...

Why would you have someone like Daly on trial?
Trials are usually for unknowns surely

Forget this Bowman and McCracken nonsense. Take them off and put on Rodgers and Grant before this gets embarrassing

Re: Falkirk vs Peterhead (Petrofac Cup)

Looks like an attacking side with Lee and Shug waiting for crosses from Smith and Alston

You can almost taste the anticipation on the streets of Falkirk for this game. 8 posts on the fans website says it all!

Re: goalkeeper

I thought he commanded his box much better than McDonald ever did. Sometimes a punch is the correct action if you think you may fumble a ball. Very impressed by him on Saturday.

Re: Falkirk vs Peterhead (Petrofac Cup)

Would like to see us going for a big win with a lot of goals but going by their results Peterhead are no mugs this season 2-0 Falkirk

Thanks Peter now let's see if Lee can deliver or has his fitness gone like Boyd or O'Connor. I am hopeful as he want to be a Falkirk player

Re: Post Raith

If the errors were in the second half I will give you that. Auld age takes its toll and from the south stand I can see defensive miStakes but the eyesight not sharp enough to catch the person making the mistake. Out of character for him though Do the people who are slating today's performance fail t...

Re: Post Raith

Not two games but two types of fan. One type try to look at positive things the team does and perhaps miss a few of the mistakes and the others go to games looking for the mistakes and perhaps miss a few of the positives!

Re: Post Raith

Do the people who are slating today's performance fail to realise there was another team on the park. Raith are big and strong at the back and break very fast. They could do well this season. I thought we did well to break them down eventually and Wighton was a passenger. As for the comment on Grant...

Re: Post Raith

Good 3 points but terrible game to watch. We seriously lack width. Smith and Shepherd were as effective as having fresh air on the wing, both offered absolutely nothing down the right. We've no natural left side with Leahy reluctant to get forward and no support from midfield. Alston was poor today...

Re: Is one F a true reflection of Falkirk Fans

No. None of the people I go to games with are desperate to see the back of Houston. We might change our minds of course, but not after one league game into the season. Not when he got us to a cup final. Look at the draw we got in the cup run, with the exception of Hibs were there any teams we shoul...
