Re: Signings on the way

Why not keep Taiwo? Paton is a very similar player but has the added ingredient of being a bampot

Re: Farewell Rory and Cameron

Blues appeared to be a typical product of the Falkirk Academy, tidy on the ball but did nothing really well. Didn’t beat a man, didn’t get stuck in, didn’t get box-to-box. Rory Loy for an experienced pro was an utter disgrace, the club gave him 3 weeks to sort himself out - Let himself and the club ...

Re: Scott Harrison

The English lower leagues are TOUGH! Up against big strong guys and loanees from big clubs. I think if you have a team full of big athletes and a decent manager in this league, you'd get top half the table, have a couple of quality players and game changers and you can challenge for the league. The ...

Re: CEFN DRUIDS Match

This is becoming a new tradition, the pre-season fixture screw up. Nearly as predictable as your own negative narrative perhaps Olaf...... :hammer: For what it's worth I feel that the club acted in good faith with planning this & just unfortunate if it needs to be cancelled for a competitive altern...

Re: 18/19 Predictions and Premonitions

Hartley obviously looks all over for players, he signed more players from outside Scotland in one transfer window, than lazy bones Houston did in 3 years.

Re: 18/19 Predictions and Premonitions

We shall see how he does for Inverness. If he scores more than 7 league goals will you lot admit he'd have been a decent squad player?

Not as a first choice player, but from the bench, why not?
Scored more goals down south than Dennon, Nelson and Jak

Re: 18/19 Predictions and Premonitions

A lot of peoples fancies for the league Inverness have announced the signing of Jordan White. Give them the title just now  Whilst he was hopeless for us, target men often get better with age, they learn to draw fouls, use their strength properly etc... He’s only 26, might be not the worst sig...

Re: Hello Dave! It's season ticket time.

Struggling to be excited about the new season, if you can print out your own tickets or use a QR code from your phone, I might not bother. The only reason I buy a season ticket at the moment, as I cannot be arsed queuing up twice to get in the ground.

Re: Sibbald signs for Ferranti thistle

In a footballing world where stats are almost everything, look at our last signing the reserve coach/performance analyst clubs look at number of sprints, distance run, assists etc... If you look at the last few seasons on TM Sibbald 2017/18 - Played 26 - Scored 4 - Assists 6 2016/17 - Played 36 - Sc...

Re: Sibbald signs for Ferranti thistle

This is even worse than those mercenaries Crabbe and Keith leaving for that lot - for a number of reasons, they had no idea livi was a basket case. Livi were something new, Livi had never been admin and these guys weren’t Falkirk Fans. I think this is madness on Sibbald’s part, they won’t play to hi...

Re: The clear-out

I don’t have a problem with Muirhead, he has passion, has the bad bit in him, can play a couple of positions and takes a mean penalty . Not that keen on Kidd, he’s a neat and tidy player, but lacks the physical part of the game, he’s not fast enough or strong enough. I happen to think a lot of Muirh...

Re: Tom Dallison

He may turn out to be hopeless but he could be the new Will Vaulks but and it’s a massive BUT this type of signing gives us some hope, something we haven’t had for years - with Lazy bones Houston as manager we were used to signings like Harris, Craigen, Kidd et al, all guys who we knew about and kne...

Re: The clear-out

I'm not sure how the contract situation works but I'd imagine they are still under contract until the play-offs and Scottish Cup Final are done with. Why the others were released right away I can't answer but I'm not sure it means that the other are to be offered new deals. I wouldn't be too happy ...

Re: The clear-out

If a players contracts runs out before the start of the season, they should be freed, if only so they have a better chance of getting a new club - that's only fair. So why are Welsh and Kidd still here? They have to be staying or at least in the managers thoughts if a potential signing falls through...
