Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Not as bad as some make out, but equally a total waste of a signing. Never in a million years good enough to build a team around and not good enough for the premier league typical Houston signing.

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

You cannot win a fight against your boss and Paul Hartley is his boss.
Shame it ended the way it did and he could have maybe helped Nelson, O'Hara and Jakubiak

Re: Morton (away)

We might not have turned the corner, but at least we are on the road with a working vehicle - not crashed into a ditch with a load of people in the back seat unwilling to help get us out of trouble.

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Might be bigger and stronger since he left, but I seriously doubt they have remodeled his entire game.

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Absolute nonsense Hartley! Signing Ryan Blair yet another nice, tidy player.

Need steel and power!

Re: Sneck on Tuesday

midfield not strong enough, should have been priorty No1.

Welsh isn't the guy we need, file under Craigen - why can't managers see we need a Will Vaulks type, and if we cannot get that, get a 6ft clugger, who is athletic.

Re: v Dundee Utd

Disagree completely. The guy is 100% correct in everything he’s saying and he does not tar all falkirk fans with the same brush. In fact he refers to “silent majority” and thousands of decent people supporting the club. I applaud his article minus the picture but it’s simply a metaphor for the mino...

Re: v Dundee Utd

I watched the St Mirren V Dundee Utd game over the festive season and saw both teams played the same standard of football as us, but both teams had a desire and work rate that We haven’t shown that this season. Today we did, high press from forwards to closing down space - once we outwork teams, we ...

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Hey! I’d love my quote to be point and laugh material for months and years ahead.
...but the facts are he came on loan from Hamilton and their fans said he was a 1 good game in 5 type player. now maybe Hartley can get more out of him and our club suits him. If that’s the case then great.

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Now we really have to worry, Hartley said at the AGM he knows the Scottish Market and doubted the availability of players who could help us out of the mess we are in - it was music to my ears Just like Houston if he cannot find a better player then we might as well chuck it, Like Harris, Longridge i...

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Longridge was a 1 good game in 6 for Hamilton. that's not the player we need. For me he's on a par with Mckee and not needed.

Big Powerful box-to box guys that's all we need

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Not confident in him finding the right guys. Welsh is not what we need at all, he falls into the Craigen, McKee and Sibbald Catagory. Can we not just sign someone over 6ft who can run 10k in a game and do the run around 7secs in a 60m sprint. That's all we need - 2 guys with a bit of pace, power and...

Re: Miller and Kerr

Andy Rogers is giving Hartley pelters on Twitter because he’s upset his pals in Miller and Kerr. Says no one has a good word to say about Hartley in the game. Miller and Kerr were part of the team when Houston was in charge, we were 2nd bottom then, we’re still 2nd bottom. Difference is Hartley bloo...

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Strikers aren't the issue, its the midfield, we need box-to-box and powerful (we need Will Vaulks basically) instead we have Kerr - Past it McKee - Neat and tidy but not strong enough Craigen - ditto Tiawo - grafter but limited and injury prone Blues - I see nothing in him, you'd think a young guy w...

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

No chance Hartley was keeping this fraud. When Hartley first joined I spent a lot of time watching him rather than the game. Austin came off the bench, in one of Hartleys first games, instead of buzzing about trying to impress him, he was almost as static as a corner flag. Hartley tried to gee him u...

Re: Dumbarton v falkirk

I get the Kerr hate, no way should he start except in emergencies - but who can take his place at the moment?

Just have to hope Hartley has some 6ft athletes with power and drive lined up.
