Re: Alloa v Falkirk

I suspect Alloa will sit in and hit on the break given who their manager is and the differeing fortunes of the two clubs. An early goal would be nice but if it doesn't come then I hope every one stays patient. I think Houstie will start with the side that started the second half at St Mirren with S...

Re: Good start to the season - but

Yes - we are unbeaten (in the league at least) - but look at the table - two points dropped and 10 goals behind Rangers. Why are we playing so defensively is it because the players who's priority is to defend aren't good enough to be relied on, or is it because or do our strikers lack the confidence...

Re: Houston - get this clown out...

Wasn't at the game (thank f***) but would be interested to hear what excuses we have tonight for - according to the BBC website - having nearly 60% of the possession and apparently only playing against one player (a part timer at that) we get hammered 5-3 HOUSTON - YOU HAVE A PROBLEM - A MAJOR PROBLEM

Re: Post Raith

Do the people who are slating today's performance fail to realise there was another team on the park. Raith are big and strong at the back and break very fast. They could do well this season. I thought we did well to break them down eventually and Wighton was a passenger. As for the comment on Gran...

Re: Is one F a true reflection of Falkirk Fans

Again, one sentence is taken and pedantically given the going over. What I mean by that is that we have to be realistic. To call for a mangers head after one league game, for a club of our stature is pathetic. There is differing opinions then their is just utter tripe. A few on here just post I'm s...

Re: Post Raith

We just about won against 10 men, had 2 shots on target. You want to celebrate that? Carbon Copy of the pIsh served up last season, you must be easily pleased. Falkirk just won three points, scored a goal, kept a clean sheet with no bookings. I guess I'm pleased with that, instead of taring everyth...

Re: League Cup 1st Round v. Shire

it cant be a awfulview as its their home ground, as I understand it. it cant be at grangemouth as it wont have a certificate for football matches of this size. Alloa, or Cumbernauld are the only real options. Both are 20 minutes away. I just wonder how much they are getting charged for this game, w...

Re: Season 2015/2016 fixtures

If we had any sort of ambition I could see us getting 19 points from the first 7 games - except of course we don't.

We should be targetting 15 minimum - but with no strikers, keepers or central defenders it's highly unlikely

Saw that too, could be rubbish but if there is any truth in it i think it could be a good move for him, lets face it i dont think he will feature much in the starting line up and hes had enough chances. Good luck to him if he does go. Why don't you see him featuring - Loys away, Houston doesn't lik...

Re: Time for a clear out?

Houstons signing are crucial this season, I think tactically he has got better as last season progressed and with Baird and Kerr coming in he signed better, but overall his signings have been disappointing. He gets my full support though for the season coming at least. We aren't a million miles awa...
