Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

Any win, ugly or otherwise will do.
Is this the worst ever start to a season for Falkirk? Does anyone know?
I think if we lose this one, 6 games on the bounce cant be far off it.

Re: FALKIRK 0 1 NOMADS

The scrapping of the academy divided opinion. I wanted it kept but can understand why others didnt as it failed to get us promoted since relegation. In theory the Brentford model sounded a good idea but the execution has been a disaster. In fairness to the Bod they tried something different. They a...

Re: Ross county v falkirk 1st Sept 18

The real problem from what I have seen is the back 3. Because they are so slow, they drop off the opposition way to early leaving a huge gap between the back 3/5 and the midfield. This gap is then exploited by any half decent team, especially as we have geriatric Paton treading water trying to back...

Re: QoS 25/8/18

Well, gladly I stayed true to my word and had a skinful before going to watch that. It certainly numbed the pain, and I found myself actually laughing when Dobbie scored his second. I don't know what Hartley thinks he can do to turn this around but it would need to be before this Saturday, as if we...

Re: Hartley’s gone

Maybe the players are not as bad as we think they are? I don't think many of them were playing for Hartley from the off, realising quickly what a weird character he was. That's not to say they are good, but they may play better under a different style of management and system. Looking through the na...

Re: QoS 25/8/18

I dont see how we can possibly aim for a clean sheet when Stephen Dobbie will score.
Its part of his contract to score against us.
1:3 QOTS (and I havent even seen us play competitively yet).

Re: Reserves v Morton

A brutal assessment of the game. I wasn't there, but heard pretty much what you reported the same. I'm going to my first game of the season on Saturday and dreading it. I cant believe I feel like this. I will make sure I am 6 pints better off before I get to the stadium just to numb the inevitable p...

Re: Rangers u21s Challenge cup

I didn't go last night,in fact I haven't seen us this season yet apart from the friendly against Aberdeen when we actually looked ok. I don't really care on the style of play, to be honest. I think Hartley may have the right idea just getting the ball to the strikers through a hoof up the park. Thin...

Really interesting article about Olu Durojaiye. For every Lyle Taylor we sign there inevitably has to be a contrary outcome.

Glad he appears to be on the up :thumbsup
I honestly cant remember if he was good, bad or indifferent. :?

Re: Vs ICT

I wasn't there on Saturday as I was up north, but by all accounts it sounds pretty dire. However, although I am not 100% convinced with Hartley's signings yet, he is building a SQUAD, not just a team, and I do think they will gel as time goes on, and with the number of players brought in, we will ha...

Grown men booing must be up there with the most cringeworthy things you can see in life.
All they are missing is a wee dummy in their mouth and a rattle to throw out their cots.
Utterly and completely embarrassing.

I would expect Hartley puts out his possible strongest team tonight.
He needs to start getting some traction with this squad and nailing down his starting 11

Re: Aberdeen Friendly

Went to this. Not been to a friendly since we played West Ham at Brockville, so you can see how much of an interest I normally take in them. However, was on holiday and thought it would be a nice night to see whar we are about. First off, our defence is now MASSIVE. Dallison was extremely impressive...

Paton was charged with assault on a former Celtic goalie, banned for spitting and is well known in Paisley for being a ned.
100% exactly what we need.
No more nicey nicey. Let’s get, ugly, ignorant and kick, spit, cheat our way to the title.
I dont care. I just want out this sh1tty league.

Good signing. Looked pretty decent when in for Jamie MacDonald at Killie last season. With us running a reserve team next season we were always going to need 3 keepers anyway . Kilmarnock fans think he is chronic. He must be absoltuley dire then if they think McDonald is a good keeper.............

Good luck wee man.
Thanks for the memories.

League Winners: Inverness Top 4: Us, DUFC, Inverness, Partick Better than Expected: Ayr As Bad As Expected: Morton (second half of season) Surprisingly Bad: Ross County Inverness only dropped a few points in the last 14 games or so, and I think momentun carries a lot in this league. Unfortunately the ;ad will have to cover for the bombscare he'll likely be playing with - none other than Capt Craptastic, Muirhead. That will mean he will need to be mobile, tough and not afraid to lay into the useless cnut alongside him, as will undoubtedly be reqd. We need at least one reliable ...
