Re: Fan Ownership

**Disclaimer - I'm not an accountant or know anything about the running of a football club, neither did i take notes so this might not be the most accurate of summaries in respect of terminology, understanding or content** St Mirren fans group are in the process of taking control of majority shares...

Re: Kevin O`Hara

Absolutely not Dade, on review I didnt make that clear - abusing someone for a disability is wrong (I brought up the EA because people have questioned whether it is a disability - I believe the quote was 'if he can still play football, how is it a disability' :bang:), but my point is - is there an a...

Re: Kevin O`Hara

Maybe because the song is more about Rangers dying and less about Dean Shiels, and every single team has sung it at song point? We didn't invent it ffs, we're not that clever. The 8 game ban imo opens up a can of worms as it has set a precedent that surely now must be followed in all other games. Sh...

Re: Falkirk v Dunfermline 04/11/2017

Shows just how vastly different opinions can be - I thought McKee played one of his worst games for us, he just didn't look interested. I also had Muirhead as one of the better performers, and although it appears I am in the minority, I thought Longridge was rank.

Fans Representation / Club Contacts

I saw some chat on the Facebook but cant bring myself to get involved in conversation with some of the roasters on there, but they brought up a good point.

Are the fans represented in any official way with the club hierarchy, and if so, which groups are they and who leads them? Does anyone know?

Re: Tony Gallagher to be sold

Agreed he is far from being the key issue, but just out of interest (and I'm genuinely asking here) has Tony G played in a league win for Falkirk yet?

Re: V Livi

Handing out 8s and 9s / 10 is a bit f*cking rich but I understand your sentiments. One thing I will take note on though is Muirhead. Along with O'Hara, probably the only ones actually giving a f*ck. I get he is a bit pish, but his head down and run straight at the defence stuff made I think all our ...

Re: Falkirk v QoS

Tony Gallagher - in particular - looks like a player who would be absolutely perfect for LWB. Get Andy Lawrie in on the other side and we are sorted.

Re: Falkirk v Dunfermline

I clapped the players that came over to thank the crowd. It speaks volumes that it was taiwo and o'hara. As for singing for sibbald as he slouched off, that was bang out of order.

Re: Dumbarton v Falkirk

I'm guessing Falkirk asked Dumbarton to produce tickets (assuming its only the host who can actually produce them) and they didn't. I think the solution is as best as could have been achieved. I dont think there will be any lost business, I fully expect 720 vouchers to be sold after day 1. In fact, ...

Re: Morton v Falkirk 18th Feb 2017

Just watched the highlights, the decision to rule out both disallowed goals was madness. The morton one was never handball in a million years (the exact same offence happened off a falkirk player about a second before the morton player) and Austin's was 1 - not deliberate and 2 a Madden-esque stonew...

Re: St.Mirren v Falkirk - Saturday 28th January

4 wins in 16 games in all competitions, and that included Raith gifting us 2/3 goals, and the St Mirren boy selling the jersey's by getting sent off. Seriously awful stuff. I dont even think Houstie should get this game, but if he does - anything but 3 points must have him out the door. In fact, any...

Re: Falkirk v Hibernian on Hogmanay

I'd actually drop Kerr and Baird.

Muirhead Grant Luca Gallagher

Hippolyte Rankin Sibbald Leahy

Miller Shepherd (though would prefer O'Hara)

Re: Dunfermline v Falkirk 26th Dec 2016

Playing hippolyte in front of Leahy completely nullifies the threat of Leahy going forward. Playing Taiwo in front of Muirhead means there is nothing attacking coming down the right. Sibbald and Leahy are our best 'partnership' forming an understanding between the two. Maybe we should try Hippo on t...

Re: v Dundee United

As pointed out above, Obedayi (sp?) looked dangerous for 30 minutes in the game, when playing down the right against Leahy and McCracken. He was anonymous when playing against Kidd and Gaspa. Lewis put in some cracking tackles on him too! Got to give credit to Houstie though, I had taiwo down as the...

Re: Raith Away

I actually think in a similar fashion to the elgin game, once we were comfortably winning, kidd had a very solid game. That makes me think ability is there somewhere, he just needs some belief. Taiwo and kerr best for me. Lee miller is an excellent player to bring on when winning...a good 'pro' I th...

Re: Irn Bru Cup against Elgin

The only thing I was annoyed about was the subs - what is the point in bringing on Miller and Rankin when the game was won? What did we hope to achieve or learn by that? Both are steady, well-seasoned pros Surely that was a perfect opportunity to give Austin game time, try Craigan in his preferred p...
