Re: Last day of One F

If this is indeed the last, I personally will miss the Forum greatly. You can see from my details that I have not been a prolific poster, but hardly a day has passed over the last nearly eight years that I have not visited the site at least once. Over the last couple of years, when for a variety of ...

Re: Jordan McGhee

Not attended any matches this season, but reading the thoughts of those who have on here, another central defender? Really? With deficiencies in other positions crying out for strengthening, and five central defenders already in the squad?

Re: St.Mirren v Falkirk - Saturday 28th January

To be fair, going back thirty or more years ago, a mate of mine, who was an avid fan, always put a small bet on whoever Falkirk were playing. Theory was that, if the Bairns lost, at least he had a couple of quid coming to make up for the disappointment. If they won, great, and he was only a quid dow...

Re: The Mighty Lincoln Red Imps!

While we got slaughtered for the loss to Vaduz, apart from the p poor preparation after Hughes departure and May being given the reigns. We did not play a team of Lichtenstein guys, they were German Austrian Swiss Italian who had a reasonable bit about them and bankrolled as a club in a tax haven. ...

I cant get into the website for tickets for Fridays game - anyone else having problems? Never happened before My son was having problems this morning trying to purchase tickets for Friday. Asked me to try on my account. Failed on various attempts. He did eventually succeed, but the web site seems t...

Re: Host move

Since the move, my automatic log in only works for a couple of occasions at best, and sometimes not at all. A very minor irritation, but if it can be corrected, it would be appreciated.

Re: Rangers titles - strip or not?

As someone from the club (don't know who, and didn't hear the full report on TV) has indicated that some players would not have signed for Rangers if the EBTs had not been on offer, then clearly an on-field advantage was gained by having them. Therefore any competitions won were not legitimate. No,...

Re: Where does the problem really lie?

I should start by saying that I have not attended any games so far this season, or watched any of the live TV matches, whether involving Falkirk or not. So, am I entitled to comment? Maybe not, but I can explain why. I would love to attend as many matches as I can, happily accepting the 3 hour round...

Oh well, that's a couple of fixtures I won't be paying at the gate for. Hope the TV income makes up for the losses at the gate.

Saw Frankie Valli at the Clyde Auditorium last night. For folk of a certain age, like me, it was a brilliant performance, even more so when I checked his age after the show. He is 81! His vocal range and energy were amazing.

The report in The Herald described Bell's efforts as "the way a drunk man might flap at a seagull homing in on his sausage supper". A perfect description.

Agree 100%. A man with the ability to describe the big picture with often the minimum of words. I don't necessarily like cricket, but have always liked listening to Test Match Special, even when it is raining and there is no play. The interaction of the commentators and summarisers is often radio go...

My lasting memory of our first colour TV was discovering the different colours of the Star Trek uniforms. Spock's was blue.
