Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

I think I might have seen you in Saturday as I left the bar. Fair play to you got giving them some grief. I just hope Ray is telling another 4 of them to get f*cked this week and that he dished out the mother of all hairdryer treatments on Saturday. We'll be bottom and out of sight of he can't bring...

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

A shambles today. That was as up there with the worst I've seen in any season and easily the worse I've seen this season. Would love to have heard Rays half/full time chat. Can only presume he was fuming with the two half time subs. Don't really get the Haber hate today. While the lot of them were p...

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

Dunfermline are dug sh1t this season too. Anyone's guess how the result will go. Performance is more important to me just now. Keep taking those baby steps and we'll be fine this season. So a big test for our lot. Will they maintain the positives from the Rayvolution or while they panic and take a p...

F*ck Hearts. I hate them more than the fifers and Rangers! Hopefully it'll implode on them soon enough.

Re: v's alloa

You can see the progress we're making under Ray. For me, today was in many ways similar to last week with periods where we looked comfortable and in control and created chances but periods where we looked very ropey at the back. Big difference being we found the net twice and unlucky not have scored...

Re: How to stop the rot?

I don't usually make these sort of comments but Harrison is genuinely one of the worst centre halves I've seen in a Falkirk Jersey. He's useless! At least Dallison can ping a 40 yard pass. Worse than Chris Smith or James Sharp :?: I'm warming to Harrison even though he is pretty limited. Smith bare...

I like the "all numbers reported are wrong except mine" part.

No one will know the "real* finances behind this one. Too many agenda driven arguments to wade through to get to the truth.

Re: PFA Pitch Ratings Report

I can't help but feel the is some effort by the dinosaurs running our game to slowly crank up the pressure to move back to grass. It's like folk are pretending the likes of Motherwell's surface don't exist. There was a period a few years back that that surface was about as dangerous as it got (when ...

Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

It's been years since we looked like a home side at TFS. Can't actually recall the last time we looked great at home. SPL era? Promotion season? Houston tapped into it once or twice (Hibs playoff a great example). We've been a naive club for years. Not nasty or clever enough. All too nicey nicey fam...

Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

Didn't think that was too bad today to be honest. You say that every week, I assume you do it to be delibarately contrary. Last weeks game had at least some signs of promise, this weeks had none at all, perhaps beyond a decent performance from Petrivicius, aside from missing the only good chance we...

Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

Even at this relatively early stage of the season I think we're bound for the drop :-? If we have 0 points after the Dunfermline game then I think we're f*cked. Lose to Dunfermline and we could be as many as 11 points behind 8th and not even a quarter of the season gone! Just nothing we can ...

Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

Didn't think that was too bad today to be honest. In the last 5 years I've seen performances far, far worse. I understand that the season to date has been a complete disaster but taking this game in isolation and not allowing the prior 5 games to cloud judgement I though today was ok on the whole. N...

Re: vs Ayr Utd :Post Match

There’s plenty of ammunition to use against the board if that’s what you want. Players exercising freedom of choice is not one of them. Got to agree 100%. Finding this blame game of the BoD when players leave to be very odd to be honest. Like you say, plenty of other things to pick them apart over.

Re: vs Ayr Utd :Post Match

Watched on Falkirk TV. Thought we looked pretty comfortable in the first half. Sure Ayr weren't at the races but much of that came from us shutting them down well and imposing ourselves on the game. Looked good for our lead in my opinion. Second half was an odd one. I don't think we were an utter sh...

The club in reality is run by the MSG who sit behind the scenes not taking the flak.
Exactly. Lang isn't blameless but she gets some amount of unwarranted flak at times. Pretty impossible to get anything you like done when votes regularly go the other way

Re: Ross county v falkirk 1st Sept 18

I'm going to be a contrarian here. I think we have some decent players, we just have very inexperienced players, they don't know the rough and tumble of pro football. This would be fine and dandy, had we been looking to consolidate our place in the championship, unfortunately for them, we should be...

Re: Welcome Ray

For our BoD to be so seemingly aligned on this tells me that this has been as much to do with his attitude to club personnel as it is results. Pretty much my thinking too. I suspect there is all kinds of sh1t that happened behind the scenes that will no doubt find it's way out to the public. No dan...

Re: Welcome Ray

What a relief. Was fearing for the worst there. The more I think about it, the more I'm happy with this appointment. Not expecting miracles with the squad he's got to work with but hoping with some organisation and effort we'll start picking up some points to lift us up the table a bit. And that Mor...
