Re: The New January Arrivals

A little underwhelmed by a few of the signings and happy with others. Safe Dixon - proven at this level so positive McShane - ditto Small risk Osmund - certainly was good enough for this level so hopefully retains that ability High risk McLean - not been setting the heather on fire at Morton who hav...

Re: Falkirk v Alloa : 08th December 2018

Agree with previous posters this will be difficult. We need to sit in and defend and not change our style because it’s Alloa. Alloa have done much better away from home probably because they too are better sitting in and hitting on the break so we mustn’t hand them the advantage here. A draw wouldn’...

Did our esteemed leader not state we would have went bust had we not closed the academy last December?

Re: Inverness v Falkirk : 01 December 2018

Didn’t attend yesterday but a fantastic result. If we can squeeze 3 points next week then we are looking good to be there or there about come January. Can’t believe how badly Caldwell has done at thistle but just what we needed. Hats off to McKinnon for doing a great job getting us competitive

Re: Partick today.

Delighted with the progress we are making under McKinnon. To make that abysmal squad of players competitive is a masterstroke. Any points we can squeeze between now and January are a bonus and it’s from 1st feb on the McKinnon can truly begin to be judged on style of play etc. On the negative I do b...

Re: Scumfermline v Falkirk

If Irving is out is that not sufficient players to have the match postponed? Good performance yesterday and whilst we are still a million miles away from where we need to be it’s a million miles from where we were and McKinnon needs to take credit for that. Back on the players missing would Rudden a...

Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

Not too many positives today against a poor united side. Just can’t see where a win is coming from pre Xmas. Next week it’s alloa and defeat there would be a major nail in the coffin. Keeper at fault for both goals and how did Petra miss his chance. It’s a real chore going at the moment

Re: vs Ayr Utd :Post Match

I didn’t miss the point you as ever moved the goal posts. We signed Jonny Mitchell on a 2 year contract when he left forth valley. He would have been on a tiny wage as they all are at this age. Why a 2 year contract and not a longer contract or one with options when we were dealing with a Scottish i...

Re: vs Ayr Utd :Post Match

To be honest I don’t care . I realise you are a board apologist which must be an ever increasingly difficult job but to my mind if I was on the board and saw a player like Mitchell coming through I’d be damn sure to make it my business to be all over his contract situation. So no need to know about ...

Re: vs Ayr Utd :Post Match

What’s ridiculous is the BOD had allowed a player who represented Scotland at every level from u15 upward to run his contract down. Yet another sign of their utter incompetence

Re: FALKIRK 0 1 NOMADS

I thought we were utterly pedestrian lacking any creativity. The worst thing about today’s game was they are the weakest opponents we will play for the rest of the season and we still got beaten. I was also surprised at the easy life Craig Campbell and Margaret Lang got. The 2 idiots who got us in t...

Re: Welcome Ray

A bit worried about McKinnon appointment but will wait and see how things develop. I know a bit about Rudden however having watched him numerous times over the years. 2-3 years ago I was convinced he would go on to be an outstanding striker however in last couple of seasons the wheels have come off ...

Club have requested permission to speak to McCall and this has been granted. McCall unsure whether he would accept as he was treated poorly in his eyes on a previous occasion when he thought the job was his.

Re: QoS 25/8/18

Best we can hope for is a draw. Hartley will be looking forward to playing as many players as he can out of position as is his want. Defeat on Saturday and I think he will then have lost the faith of the majority of the support

Re: Reserves v Morton

Bleak reading. Jonny Mitchell went to Brentford not Celtic ( Connor Mcbride went to Celtic) and I note he was named in the Scotland u19 squad today. Give the size of our squad I was surprised a few more first team bench warmers weren’t involved

Rangers u21s Challenge cup

Where do I start after that terrible performance against a team of wee laddys tonight. Hanging on at the end for the full time whistle having been dominated in the second half. Tonight was the night I realised that this is terminal for Hartley. I cannot see how he will turn this around and don’t exp...

Re: Vs east fife

Shocking first half but much better second half. Positives and negatives on show but clear again that Hartley either doesn’t have a clue of his best xi/formation or is wildly wrong when selecting it. team looked much better after the subs and haven’t a clue why he is continuing to play Lewis left wi...

I hope mackin has improved in both ability and general fitness from the guy who played against us for Livi and Brechin. Not one I’m too excited about but hoping he has improved a lot
