Re: Hartley’s gone

feels very much like we are heading towards the bottom of the list of candidates that the board had their eyes on to take over from PH all very disconcerting and leaves a feeling of past caring to me.......we didn't get our 1st or 2nd choice according to the media which leaves us scrambling or beggi...

Re: QoS 25/8/18

i honestly thought the days of clarke and lambie were distant memories......how wrong was i watching that brought back said memories and some, no formation, no idea, no clue no leader no fight out of the 16 new players only 4 at a push i would keep irvine haber lewis and fasan the rest can disappear...

Re: Thistle away

i've noticed that the bookies have slashed the odds on us being relegated from 33/1 to 10/1 same as we were to win the league before a ball was kicked..........says it all really :help3:

Re: We really are a bunch of moaning gits.

for the first time in quite a few seasons i'm genuinely excited by the influx of players to the team, just because we haven't heard of a few of them doesn't mean they're failures nobody had heard of stokes, farid, lyle taylor etc etc before they came to the club thats part of the unknown factor that...

Sibbald signs for Ferranti thistle

Falkirk FC can confirm that Craig Sibbald has joined Livingston FC for an undisclosed fee. The 23 year old midfielder, who has played over 250 times for the club, departs having expressed a strong desire to continue his career elsewhere. Craig has been an outstanding servant to the club over a numbe...

season ticket sales 2018/19

having been a season ticket holder for more than 30 out of the 40 odd years of watching the bairns i'm at present trying to justify my reasons for renewing it next season, didn't make the game against the pars due to illness i could probably have gone at a push but i just didn't have the enthusiasm ...

Re: Our Time - Or is it

I’d settle for “We’ll win the first game of the season or your money back”. We haven’t managed that since beating Gretna on the 4th of August 2007. That shows how rank we have been at the start of every season since, and is a pretty shameful record tbh. "our time to choose your family" or " our pla...

Re: Falkirk v Morton

can't disagree with any of your comments CR we've been blessed with some brilliant entertaining teams over the years and i for one have been through the good and bad times also, and as you say the BOD have been pivitol in the decline of our team but unfortunately until someone decides they would lov...

Re: Falkirk v Morton

for me Sunday was the final straw for me regarding muirheads future at the club in that one instance he gave the referee a major desicion to make when he made contact with bates if that had have been the other way round we would have been screaming for a red card and i think we were very fortunate t...

Re: Falkirk v Morton

who the hell do we play at centre half, surely captain calamity can't continue to be the rock we rely on to steady the ship, he breeds absolutely no confidence and i for one hope he is one of the first shown the door in the summer along with a few others who should be now looking to put themselves i...

Re: falkirk v Dumbarton 24th Feb 2018

you could almost sense the disbelief after the 1st half as they seemed to come out in the 2nd thinking it didn't matter what they did they weren't going to score. anything above 8th place is a bonus in my opinion.as already said another clear out required in the summer to prepare for next season .

Re: revised season expectations ??

our cup draw against the bigot brother will have given our board an unexpected safety net that had gone due to our league placing as they would have counted on a play off place at the very least at the start of the season.not sure what the club can expect from the gate revenue and possible tv covera...

revised season expectations ??

is it just me or should any position above 2nd bottom be our goal after the way this season has panned out, after each recent win i've seen comments like only such and such away from the play-off's when in reality we are in a one hell of a fight to stay in this league. yes we all agree we should be ...

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

going by the form at the start of the season i don't think anyone can argue with any of the departures from the club, as has been said if the academy had still been around i would've kept miller and kerr in the coaching set up, but from what i've heard the writing has been on the wall from the momen...

Re: Vs Morton

It's either get rid of the manager or the club allows the manager to get rid of majority of the squad and start again. From what I've been told the players pretty much hate Hartley. Not sure if that's true or not but by what's happening on the pitch it looks as if that's the case. Was also told tha...

Re: Vs Morton

having had the pleasure of watching the team through previous disasters like clarke, lambie, bannon, totten and hughes last season this team will in the future be placed somewhere amongst them in our glorious history of feck ups !! wouldn't be the slightest surprised if hartley went to the board on mon...

Re: Vs Morton

for spells in that match we actually looked ok but we desperately need a bit of quality in the middle of the park, a bit of luck could've swung that result our way but it didn't so its back to the drawing board for hartley and co. who is going to take any of our imposters in January to make room for...
