Re: Post Falkirk v Dumbarton

as the original poster said we seriously missed mark kerr tonight for me that was the most worrying thing, but i guess we have to cut the team some slack after a busy week. for once our goals didn't come from defenders and it was good to see blair and sibby netting, craig's was a belter and blair to...

Re: Post Raith

i thought we looked pretty solid yesterday especially the second half, as above the one thing we lacked is a striker. they never really troubled us all game apart from the two scares at the end.
grant was solid never lost one challenge in the air.

Re: League Cup 1st Round v. Shire

We didn't have much to beat but we did create a shed load of chances. If we had been more clinical in front of goal we could easily have doubled our score. Front two's movement was excellent and Smith provided loads of ammunition. Best for me were Smith, Baird and Alston. Not convinced by Muirhead ...

Re: Alex Cooper

It normally is quite easy IMO. Players who are in to their twenties or thirties and have been let go by Scottish clubs should initially receive one year deals. In coopers case he had been released by Ross county and came to us for a few weeks trial. In doing so it suggests clubs weren't exactly queu...

Re: v East Fife (25.07.15)

Wasn't there today but agree with above generally. I think one Vaulks, Kerr and Taiwo holding with Sibbald, Alston and Smith more offensive would suit us better. To accommodate players I also wonder if Taiwo might be a candidate for a Leahy type co. nversion into a right back. Forgot to mention in ...

Re: v East Fife (25.07.15)

I'm sorry but despite vaulks and Sibbs perhaps not 'being at the races', Kerr should have been replaced. He was honking today. Smith and Alston done very well when they came on but can't help feel Kerr should have made way, especially if Vaulks is supposed to be our captain. At the time i wasn't ha...

can't say I'm really bothered, he was ok but not great and no personality. i even preferred boaby in his early games when cross balls were so scary i couldn't watch.

Re: Falkirk v Rangers - Pre Match Thoughts

In short, lived up to the spirited but largely toothless 2-0 defeat I expected but plenty of encouraging signs. Sorry but there was nothing toothless about us. Final ball and finishing was unfortunate but to call it toothless is totally disrespectful to our efforts and football in general. Taking s...
