Re: MMMMMMMMM Dennon!

This guy shows plenty of promise on the clips so hoping that translates into performances for us. I think I am probably alone in not wanting Nelson to return. If we were to have 5 strikers then fine but based on what I saw last season I don’t think Nelson is good enough to play up front in a title ...

Re: Tom Dallison

agree with all of above good luck to the guy. big guy with decent background I see him as the peter Grant replacement so if he's bigger quicker and with better distribution great. a centre 3 of McGhee dallison and Muirhead on paper looks good. big units who are quick and good in the air. with Robson...

Re: The clear-out

http://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/five-players-sign-for-season-201819/ Meh. McGhee and Robson fair enough, but the other three could have been seen far enough. What Kidd and O'Hara contribute is a total mystery, their wages combined could have been better used to attract one decent-standard Championship p...

Re: falkirk v st mirren 28th April 2018

as others have said very poor end of season fare as to be expected. however good to win it with a great goal from Blair. I thought mutch was motm with 3 terrific saves. sibbald looks very decent too and I'd like to see him back next year. looks like Peter Grant is off by the way he gave his strip aw...

Re: Club Statement

I read the original statement as THIS season was the largest budget with the comings and goings in January included (although understand they were cost neutral). everyone else seemed to read it as next season so I presumed I had it wrong. maybe there's no mix up between Hartley and Campbell as this ...

falkirk v st mirren 28th April 2018

first game I've been to in years where we have nothing to play for. hopefully we'll end with another win over the buddies and some decent performances. I wonder how quickly after this game we'll get news of both ins and outs? it would be nice to get an idea of the squad prior to season ticket renewa...

Re: Club Statement

I'm happy with Hartley and what he's done to date. he's been ruthless when he's had to be and his interviews are pretty decent post match. the form since he took over has been pretty much play off and that s starting from a terrible position in terms of morale and personnel. I like the fact he looks...

Re: Club Statement

Great statement. With regards to the safe standing, why don’t they allow supporters to stand along the east tochline behind the advertising boards? That would make for a better atmosphere and you could undoubtedly fit 300 fans there therefore saving the £30,000 needed to make safe standing in the S...

Re: St Mirren Away

how things have changed since a couple of years ago when every game in the last half dozen played in the season was played like a cup final by players who didn't know how to give up. really hard to predict how our last 3 games will go as it will depend on which team st mirren put out for both gamed,...

Re: Inverness away

I think loy and Harris will both move on despite their additional year to go. even if they are offered less but it's a two year contract or even 1 year and they will play I think they'll take it. what player wants to not play at all for another year? their value to other teams will diminish too if t...

Re: Inverness away

I think we will get 1 point from our remaining games and finish 8th as i don't think Dumbarton will get any more than that. Its been a horrible season overall and we are taking a big risk in this big rebuilding Hartley is to do. How long do we give him for example if we are in the bottom half in Oc...

Re: Inverness away

Dont understand why so many people seem to rate longridge. He performs one week out of about every 4 and slows the play down far too much with his need to take 10 or 12 touches before releasing the ball. A squad player next season at best but I'd rather he was punted for better quality. Totally agr...

Re: Falkirk vs. Dunfermline 07-04-18

summed up our season in one match. poor decision making at key times in game from longridge giving the ball away for their crucial first to Harris failing to find a man when through at the end. our crossing was poor throughout with Robson and McGhee main culprits. thought sibbald and Welsh did well ...

Re: QotS v Falkirk

We need another 6 points to be completely safe imo. We will get nothing down there. why? they've only won 1 of their last 8 home games, apparently dobbie isn't fit and they've been shipping goals every game. we've only lost 3 of our last 8 away games, only let in 2 goals in the last 6 matches and h...
