What about the Falkirk player that actually played for Barcelona

Really good story. Pity he didn't stay with us for longer and shame how his football career ended.

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

Coming down for this one. Surely it has to be better than my last visit a fortnight ago vs DU. I think most of us would take a draw in the current circumstances

Re: Prince Buaben

Remember the highlights well. What a header from John Clark, and Paul Sturrock was superb at the time. What I had forgotten though was that the smug Gary Lineker and forever moaning Mark Hughes were both playing - makes it even more enjoyable to watch once more

Re: Vs ICT

I'm prepared to wait until October to make a proper judgement as my next game isn't until the end of August, then I will see quite a few in September and October. There does appear to be a lot of dross there at the moment

I am giving him a chance. Just feel we are a confused mess at present and it will take a while to sort out.

Re: Signings on the way

I wonder how many players PH has tried out so far? I've only seen 2 matches, but Dallison is the only stand out for me. Forwards are weak, midfield non creative. I can't see there being a settled side for several weeks and even then, it could be lower half of the league quality. Shouldn't be so depr...

I was last there in 2015 I think, so yes if it has changed since then fine but still a tight pitch. Hate going there.

Re: 18/19 Predictions and Premonitions

League Winners: Inverness Top 4: Inverness, Dundee Utd, Partick, Us Better than Expected: Ayr As Bad As Expected: Alloa Surprisingly Bad: QOS I would have chosen DU to win the league but I think it depends on how much time the give Laszlo as I think he will be sacked then they will recover to make 2...

Re: The EX-Bairn Files

MASSIVE opportunity for JR, getting a huge club at exactly the right time. He dodged a bullet, in Ipswich, & looks to have landed a club that he COULD take to the Premier League, within 2/3 years, should he nail it. If he can get them rolling, with promotion the season coming, it would give him a se...

18 in 34 is pretty good - didn't recall Marino scoring so many.

yes I remember the posters. Were in Evening Times or Evening Citizen. Some people in the ''choir'' area put them on home made boards and lifted them up when the players took the field. Great memories.

Re: MMMMMMMMM Dennon!

Yes, you are probably right, but over a longer time span, we haven’t been renowned for single star goalscorers. Fantastic if we have one (or even two) now. Having said that, by recent standards, 20 goals in a season isn’t exactly prolific, so quite possibly we’ve had our fair share of those. I need...

Still people slagging off alex smith for no reason. The idea we were doing smith a favour is frankly utter nonsense. The guy was excellent for our academy where his daily presence helped many of our young players for very little recompense and at a time in his life when he couldve been sitting on hi...

Re: Dumbarton Away

Wasn't there but result was good. However, it doesn't tell us much unless certain players did enough to keep themselves in a job. This Saturday will be a test as I think Jack Ross will be going all out to avoid a second defeat to us in less than a fortnight
