Re: v Dundee United

Nothing to be scared of here. They may have decent players up top but have showed they can be dodgy at the back which we must exploit. No reason we cant win this if the attitude is right. 5.15 ko so loads of drink beforehand should see most of the crowd speaking a form of Gaelic by then.(Brian Stuar...

Re: Raith Away

Great 3 points we have steadily improved over the last 3 games and looked solid yesterday with a good team spirit. Kerr Gasporotto Taiwo and McHugh were best for me . Could have won by more in the end and Raith for all their early season bluster were pretty poor tbh. Kidd still a worry for me as hes...

Brendan McIntyre.
Of the worst players to pull on a Falkirk jersey he's in my top one.

Re: Killie Post Match

Lets not forget as we all discussed here prior... lastnight was a big step into the unknown for all. Players, Housty and fans. That cant be underestimated and wont happen again on Sunday We came through it not only intact, but if Killie find themselves unable to seize the initiative on Sunday, we a...

Re: Killie Post Match

Aye we rode our luck but so what? Its about putting the ball in the net ..we did..they didn't. Midfield as mentioned was let down and surprisingly when we did have possession we gave the ball away far too often. All 4 midfielders were off the boil and can't see that happening again in return leg tbh...

Re: Falkirk v morton 1st May 2016

Looking forward to this. Agree we dont win anything for finishing second but gives us a chance of promotion. 3rd or 4th and its dead in the water for me,just too many games. We are well capable of winning but also of shooting ourselves in the foot, been here too many times over the years. To be at th...

Re: Hibs v Falkirk 12th April

Amazing last few minutes and felt like a win..great character. First half were were very poor, too many mistakes and looked nervous at times, goal changed the balance of play and gave them a lift put us on the back foot. Nine times out of ten Houston gets the set up /team right but thought we started ...

Re: Falkirk v St mirren 9th april

Very important win and showed alot of character to get the 3 points. Better team with better players against a side hellbent on stopping us playing with no protection from the useless ref and linesmen ( how slow were they to make decisions) Bairdy had a an off day and McHugh an able replacement came...

Re: Latapy / Harper

He did pretty well as ICT assistant . Look at them this season now Hughes has his old mucker involved. Not sure it was a good card to play TBH however it is like Sectarianism this. There will be club directors in this country who are red hot one way or another. Are we saying that there is not peopl...

Latapy / Harper

Pretty feeble and poor from these two playing the race card when it cleary isnt the case. Agree with vast majority of the article by Gordon Waddell. I'd add that Latapys record as TnT manager was pretty poor to say the least...the only evidence we have of him as a boss. Who knows..he may make it as ...

Re: QOS away post match

A sore one to take, felt like a defeat. Despite QOS having most of possesion first half we created the better chances. 2-0 up from some great pressing and we were strolling..think our confidence grew and we starting looking like our old selves. As they say goals change games and its surely a mental ...

Re: The run in

Beat Livingston and we're 9 clear..puts a serious doubt in the Hibs minds if its not there already. Very heavy schedule for them in April and will take its toll. A wee look at their forum and the knives are out for Stubbs. We still have to work very hard for 2nd but the momentum is with us and we ar...

Re: Falkirk v Rangers 18th March 2016

Briliant night and up there with the best ever if only for the manner in which we won it,never mind the opposition. We were being ripped apart in a way I didnt think was possible and as much as I despise them they were very good at all out attacking play. The width and pace was killing us and ironica...

Re: Falkirk v Rangers 18th March 2016

Would take a point tbh. Will be difficult with enforced changes,Kerr will be a big miss he's what makes us tick. Interesting to see how Houston approaches this one,Taiwo /Vaulks in midfield will be good for battling qualities but maybe lacks the creativity. Dont lose an early goal and introduce some...

Re: Dumbarton v Falkirk 12th March 2016

Big dissapointment. We played and passed well up till we scored then retreated into our shell trying to protect a 1-0 lead v ten men. Dont agree this was Houstons tactics ,seen him trying to urge them forward. This was purely a mental thing on the players part,it was mentioned before the game if we c...

Re: Confirmed Pre-contract Signing

Maybe a bit of forward planning if Houston thinks we could lose a couple in the summer, which maybe the case but a damn site better than previous years where we lost half if not more of a squad. Decent player by all accounts and a bit different to what we have. Always good to take good players from r...

Re: Alloa Saturday

Job done and a welcome 3 points, could and should have been more, which is my only gripe as it could come down to goal difference for the 2nd spot. Agreed with Vaulks back in midfield as you can get away with playing McCracken in these type of games. Watson played well again as he did against St Midde...

Great stuff..can't actually believe they are playing in Falkitk but well done to the venue for making this happen.
Must be up there with being one of the biggest established artists to play an indoor venue in Falkirk ?
