Re: Tom Dallison

What this thread and others of a similar vein goes to prove is those actively attacking the board for allowing this sh*tshow were taken in just as much as they were. It seems Dade was one of the few to express reservations about the experience (or lack of) that Dallison had. We were all seduced by m...

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

... After January (loan deals permitting), no one other than McGhee, Robson, Rudden, Mitchell, Petra and maybe Brough should ever get near the first team again. I'd add McKee to that list as I suspect he's carrying an injury but is playing because he's better than the others we have in midfield e.g...

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

It doesn't help when we don't have one defender who looks comfy enough to pass a ball out of defence. Everything is just cleared or half cleared. No Gerard Afjes, Cedric Uras or Murray Wallace. Dallison appears to be the one who was meant to fulfil that role but hasn't realised 8 games in to his se...

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

Think Ray boobed by bulleting 4 on Friday. That he got a "we don't care" performance from the team today, would suggest he'd have been better waiting till Monday to do that. After the game was out of the road. If I were any of the four of them I'd seriously be considering giving it up. If I couldn'...

Re: Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

Well, that was the WORST performance I've seen from Falkirk in a long time (didn't see the QoS game). Dallison by far and away the worst player on the pitch today. Is he an actual professional player?? Team played like a bunch of kids, hit and hope, no cohesion, no challenging, no creativity, could...

Re: 4 players away

Wow  I knew McKinnon would trim the dead wood but didn't see him jettisoning that many and so soon into his reign - I assumed it would be the January window to allow for injuries/suspensions. Greenwood is the only one I feel could have had something to offer but the manager watches them daily...

Re: Anton Rodgers

Has decided not to extend his trial period.

Other trialists being considered according to the FH.

I think we probably dodged a bullet with him.

Falkirk v Scumfermline 06/10/18

After last week's result and the signing of Prince Buaben are we all sensing a renewed optimism for this game or was Alloa merely a false dawn?

Re: Prince Buaben

Decent signing and surprised he wasn't attached as he can do us a job.

Also seem to remember he likes a tackle and is pretty mobile so hopefully he will replace Paton. This week's feel good factor is off-the-scale

... Our keeper is a bag of nerves and still worrying whenever the ball is anywhere near the 18 yarder. Pulled off one decent save, but pushed it back IN to play, rather than away. We got away with it, but best not to dwell on his performance. ... My fear is someone like Higginbotham will have a fie...

TL;DR It's all bleak, close the doors and go home.
We need something out of tomorrows game there is no doubt but we also need momentum. A good result to lift the players out of this rut and I think we could kick on. Another defeat and it's a spiral we're in.

I don't usually make these sort of comments but Harrison is genuinely one of the worst centre halves I've seen in a Falkirk Jersey. He's useless! At least Dallison can ping a 40 yard pass.
Worse than Chris Smith or James Sharp :?:

I'm warming to Harrison even though he is pretty limited.

Re: Anton Rodgers

His trial period is being extended according to the Falkirk Herald so that he can work on his fitness. Seems like the ball is in his court as the other trialist we had has been cut loose as he wasn't up to the standard required! Who would have thunk that viewing players at close quarters would be so...

Re: How to stop the rot?

...I dont think we can start haber either... I'd prefer Lewis in the team ahead of Haber. I think there is merit to utilising the pace/running of Rudden, Petravicious and Lewis instead of trying to use Haber as an ineffectual target man. If we had wing-backs of note I'd favour that tactic but since...
