Re: Club Statement

It's onef there are always going to be a few negative posts. Lets just see what the summer brings before we can judge the statement properly. The good thing is if we start the season well the negative fuckers will disappear from here post-haste. On occasions if it weren’t for the ‘negative fu...

Re: Club Statement

Jesus Christ! Some people swallow any old crap with a positive spin. This CEO has done nothing! He gets paid over 70K a year for what? We'd be better off with 2 more players in the squad for that. He is CEO of probably the worst full-time club in Scotland, but who are only a couple of hundred off b...

Re: Club Statement

Sounds like the chairman was being ‘economical’ with the truth, possibly to appease supporters after the dreadful season we’ve had and with one eye on selling ST for next season.

Re: Dumbarton Away

Yesterday's result typifies the standards of 1F, three moans before kick off and after the "Bairns" knock in FIVE goals away at Dumbarton, which has been a bogey ground for Falkirk, NOTHING! The excuse will be that it is a meaningless fixture. None of you like taking to the keyboard after a win but...

Re: Our Season in Quarters

Dire reading and lays bare how bad this season has been.

Also utterly exposes how under invested we've been that St.Mirren, relegated in 2015 have bounced back in 3 years and yet we will be approaching 9 years stuck in the Championship (if we avoid the play-off which isn't a certainty).

Re: Inverness away

Have to say that I'm unconvinced that PH will get us competing nearer the top next season. Jakubiak aside, I haven't seen anything in the players he's brought in that assures me that the new strategy will work. Robson has regressed (akin to Gallacher as they're both inexperienced) and I don't get th...

Falkirk vs. Dunfermline 07-04-18

Bragging rights at stake for this one as I think they'll comfortably finish above us and in the play-offs with the run-in they have  For us, it's about getting as high up the table as possible as 5th or 6th will guarantee 200K+ income for the rebuild that will happen in the summer. In terms of...

Re: falkirk v rangers

We had half chances and did well to score but the defending was criminal. As noted countless times we have zero quality at centre-half and both got found out. Muirhead may try hard but I’m afraid his race is run with us and has to be moved on - he’s not a full back, wing back, midfielder or centre h...

Re: No more academy?

My point of view is get us back in to the SPL, then look to get a Youth Facility back in place. Hartley is concentrating 100% on 1st team squads to get us back up, probably not this season, but hopefully next season if the momentum continues. If it looks like we are heading back up, start putting t...

Re: No more academy?

I think the number was £3 million income over 7 years. Looking at the accounts of forth valley academy Falkirk paid in anything between £100k to £140k per annum. We then had the cost of the under 20s on top which is rumoured to be £200k per annum. Now as we know the u20s league finishes at the end ...

Re: v ICT 27th Jan

A game of little note decided by two pens.

I'd heard a lot about Robson but he was no better than average.

Were winning while not being great and still have a fragility hence the ICT goal.

Upto 8th and that's where we want to be come the seasons end.

Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

It's disappointing that we haven't always seen the best of our young players when they've come through recently. Whether it's been management decisions or Swansea stock piling promising players its hindered some of these guys development. Good luck to Tony. Much maligned recently but could feel he w...

Balatoni signs for Torquay Utd.

Was decent and I'd like to have seen him stay but his deal made him expendable.

Re: Miller and Kerr

Can someone please say what these rumours are!? Rusty Nail, Quidsin- what allegations are you alluding to?? Pish, you can drop players without telling them that they are bad influence’s at the club. Especially a club they have given so much to. The way Hartley treats players and people in general i...

Re: Miller and Kerr

Stretcher for Rodgers! Does he still work in Overland? He doesn’t. I think Rodgers point is those two have done more for Falkirk than Hartley, so far, and if what’s been alleged is accurate then the situation should have been handled differently. For instance, Hartley could’ve been diplomatic and t...

Who appears in the “Our Time” posters now? I feel we have a right to know who replaces Fash on that poster.
Do we think he’s taken the fall for the marketing campaign. Harsh.
