Re: Hello Dave! It's season ticket time.

The signings are at least "new faces" and not the usual dross Houston got from the fire sales in Edinburgh. I would be optimistic were it not for the new deals offered to some of the players already at the club. I have seen comments that Muirhead and Kidd will only be back-ups etc., but don't belie...

Re: The clear-out

I agree reserve football is better than development football but this wasn’t a choice of the club anyway as there is no u20 league any more. Where I am slightly concerned is that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that the reserve team will be more expensive than the u20s so not sure wh...

Have a bit of patience. The season only ended 2 days ago!
100%

Some players may not even know where they stand yet.

Also if there are 12+ coming in who knows what quality they will be?

I remember we kept Sam McGivern and people asking why, and along came Stainrod. The rest is history.

Re: season ticket sales 2018/19

Not for me jak and possibly Robson aside I wouldn’t have any of them in a first XI capable of winning this league. If your point is he was signing players to finish 8th then you do have a point however. I would though take issue with Hazard as he has been a complete waste of a wage and Blair hasn’t...

He got most right in January

Longridge
Nelson
Robson
Jak
Hazard
Blair

All contributed to dramatically better results since Christmas

They will be good if fans deem the signings are good. They won’t if they don’t.

Marketing slogans won’t wash.

Re: Club Statement

Jesus Christ! Some people swallow any old crap with a positive spin. This CEO has done nothing! He gets paid over 70K a year for what? We'd be better off with 2 more players in the squad for that. He is CEO of probably the worst full-time club in Scotland, but who are only a couple of hundred off b...

Re: Club Statement

Positive stuff certainly. We have had words before however and I don't think it is unfair of anyone to wait and see if the words are implemented. I do have confidence in CC trying to implement what he says unlike others who sit in the MSG. As far as us all contributing more people contribute what th...

Re: falkirk v rangers

I dont think we will do too badly TBH, we are hardly playing Barcelona FFS.

Win no, draw no but I think we will give them problems.

As usual with these games the first 20 minutes are probably the key.

Re: Sneck on Tuesday

They should have trolled us at TFS in the 0-0 draw. I would wager they will end up playing the Premiership Club in the playoffs. By all accounts should have beat St.Mirren at the weekend. Got pace, power and strength in their team. Not Losing many goals now. The lad Oakley is a beast. Would have him...

Re: v Dundee Utd

BPM I agree with almost all of what you are saying however I am not sure that the eyeball throwing was done in protest of Falkirk being victimised. I think it was just a few wee boys throwing things on to the pitch to be honest. I think they thought they were being funny possibly trying to impress ...

Re: v Dundee Utd

In Gordon`s defence, I don't think he would be responsible for the "Neanderthal" graphic. I don't know how newspapers work but he probably wrote the article and someone else produced the graphic. However given the backlash on social media yesterday, I suspect he will be exerting a bit more editoria...

Re: No more academy?

The club is struggling and a lot of what we’ve done is unsustainable. Interesting to note in light of this the go-ahead of hospitality even when no game against Brechin took place. Are we living hand-to-mouth currently  I was stunned when I read they were pushing on with hospitality! Not fro...

Re: No more academy?

The more I'm thinking about this the more the alarm bells are ringing. While I agree with the move (and disgusted with the timing/handling), I'm starting to get a really strong sense of dread in the pit of my stomach that we're on the slide towards something catastrophic. Exactly where I am. Like w...

Re: No more academy?

Definitely nobody involved within the academy was told anything and in fact players and parents still don’t know anything other than what’s in public domain. The story was clearly leaked by our esteemed chief exec to his buddy Gordon Waddle and the rest is history. Club needs to do what it thinks i...
