Re: The EX-Bairn Files

Jack Ross to Sunderland - good luck to the man. Multiplied his salary by 5 MASSIVE opportunity for JR, getting a huge club at exactly the right time. He dodged a bullet, in Ipswich, & looks to have landed a club that he COULD take to the Premier League, within 2/3 years, should he nail it. If he ca...

Re: Play offs today

Thank God I won't have to suffer 6 games of hoofball again. Though a triumph for effort & commitment.

At least, in replacing St. Mirren/Livi with Partick/County wont adversely affect visiting crowds.

Hello Dave! It's season ticket time.

Somebody must be pulling my chain that the new sponsor has decided to name the South Stand after Papa Lazarou! :joker:

Chat regarding longride was that he wanted more money than what he got last year due to loy being on a wedge. Cheeky bugger forgets that he was part of team that finished 8th.
If he can find better elsewhere then best of luck.
Might find the deal's no longer there, if he can't.

Any chance of clearing out the Bozo's running the joint.
They can't even organise their trademarks!

Re: falkirk v st mirren 28th April 2018

Still people slagging off alex smith for no reason. The idea we were doing smith a favour is frankly utter nonsense. The guy was excellent for our academy where his daily presence helped many of our young players for very little recompense and at a time in his life when he couldve been sitting on hi...

Re: falkirk v st mirren 28th April 2018

Pish end of season fare, with a goal worthy of winning the game. Only Jakubiak & Mutch showed a level of professionalism required in this end of season friendly. The service the former received left him reminiscent of that which Ken Eadie was left to feed off years ago. 3/4 good saves from Mutch, ha...

Re: falkirk v st mirren 28th April 2018

if its a nice day, I might give this a miss. I am completely bewildered by the Alex Smith love in - Smith and his ilk are one of the main reasons Scottish football is so crap. Only last year he was saying Rangers(sic) and Celtic should buy clubs like ours and use them as youth fodder. Why is he bei...

Re: Dumbarton Away

Yesterday's result typifies the standards of 1F, three moans before kick off and after the "Bairns" knock in FIVE goals away at Dumbarton, which has been a bogey ground for Falkirk, NOTHING! The excuse will be that it is a meaningless fixture. None of you like taking to the keyboard after a win but...

OK. Thank f**k we don't have to. Delighted that Sibbald was the man to nail it.
Why, does it justify a contract extension?

Re: Dundee United Away

IMO PH has done well to have had us in with an outside chance of a top 4 finish, until the last two weeks. I commented before Christmas that he should walk away, as they were too far gone as much to being irretrievable. That it looks all but secure, is to his credit. As the penny appears to have dro...

Came in to the managers job at completely the wrong time for us. That he left a safe job in Maryhill, showed the depth of feeling he had for the club. That it didn't work, & the outcome, is probably regrettable on both parts. Can remember his Accies side that left everybody trailing, back in 86, wh...
