Re: Falkirk v Dundee Utd 22/9/18

How a keeper, at 6'3", can get beaten to an aimless high ball, when he's also got an arms reach advantage over a striker, is beyond me. Fully expect Mutch between the sticks next week. Team did play better, if not being able to hit a barn door at 5 paces. But were undone by a complete gift of a lead...

Holt claiming responsibility for the installation of our artificial surface. Can't seem to remember if this was widely known at the time :?:
"It enhanced our play" Could've fooled me. We're still in this division Gary.

Re: Ross county v falkirk 1st Sept 18

I hope he can do what Hartley did and get some loan deals in. Ship many of them out in January. The emergency loan window is no longer an option, so he won't be in a position to do what Hartley did in signing the likes of Longridge and Tummilty at the back end of last year prior to the January tran...

Re: Ross county v falkirk 1st Sept 18

Worst start to a league season since 1956/57. 0 points, 1 goal in 4 games. Frightening. By all accounts a bit more fight about the team but god, if we're clinging to that, it just demonstrates the depths to which we have sunk. What a job McKinnon has on his hands with this bunch. Yet only 3 points ...

Re: Ross county v falkirk 1st Sept 18

Ayr United turn down 2 bids of £175k for Shankland as he’s a vital part of their team. If only our Board had adopted a similar approach over the years then maybe we’d have got promoted? Instead we now have a total shambles. Maybe the Board will introduce soft loans to somehow get us out of this mes...

Re: Hartley’s gone

Sportsound has McCall and Hughes on. Points of notes - Applications already received from throughout uk and Europe - Hughes rules himself out - McCall did not rule himself out, could easily have said no but didn't Heard that as well :( I also took an inference that he believes the lack of football ...

So, he's gone. What are we going to do now then?
Hopkins the obvious candidate, but can you stomach 'hoofball' for a winning team?
Relegation beckons, if they don't make the right choice.

Re: QoS 25/8/18

Well, gladly I stayed true to my word and had a skinful before going to watch that. It certainly numbed the pain, and I found myself actually laughing when Dobbie scored his second. I don't know what Hartley thinks he can do to turn this around but it would need to be before this Saturday, as if we...

Re: Hartley OUT

I can remember Jim Jeffries getting pelters, Yogi playing every position bar keeper, Stainrod going down in a heap in his first game & it taking til October for the team finally knitting, with the introduction of Alex Taylor. On the other side, I saw Jim Duffy turn a season, & a team's fortunes, rou...

Re: QoS 25/8/18

Too many players signed, on the say so of our English "scout", who haven't shown to be any improvement on what was here last season. A manager who hasn't settled on a system, or starting 11, by the time the seasons started & a support who thinks that it should be challenging for the title. A perfect...

Re: Hartley OUT

It's obviously easier to replace a manager, than another 7/8 signings who haven't shown like they've made any improvement, but Hartley's decision to constantly change shape & style of play is only causing him problems, within the team, & concern within the fanbase. In starting with a back 5, contain...
