Re: Hartley to rebuild squad in transfer window

Everyone knew it was going to be a major task for Hartley to turn things round.
With no cash to spend, he's limited to swaps/loans/players out of contract.
The current crop weren't cutting it & he needed a massive turnaround in playing staff.
At least he's making a fist of it.

Re: v Dundee Utd

Effort, commitment, application topped off with some skillful play. Everything that the support have been looking for all season & see what you get from the outcome. 3 points, a win bonus, a happy set of fans & a positive outlook for the rest of the season. If that's the standard of S/lands Academy,...

Re: V QOS 30/12

As the goals went in you could almost visibly see the confidence surge through the team.
Likewise, when Queens netted for their second, you could see the confidence evaporate.
Glad they held on for the win though.
Now, onto Fife come Tuesday.

Re: Jimmy Nicholl

Many a year has passed since Falkirk's manager left to take the assistants job at Snake Mountain.
Mind you, it's another club & we were top of the division then.
Cheery bye.

Re: No more academy?

Heard yesterday that SPL clubs are cherry picking the best players from our Academy. Apparently they have been given permission to do so by Falkirk FC :bang: Well when your setup has been downgraded from 'elite' to 'prgressive', with appropriate funding cut, this was always going to take place. Tha...

Re: No more academy?

The more I'm thinking about this the more the alarm bells are ringing. While I agree with the move (and disgusted with the timing/handling), I'm starting to get a really strong sense of dread in the pit of my stomach that we're on the slide towards something catastrophic. Exactly where I am. Like w...

Sounds pretty much like a rerun of the LC tie earlier in the season. One of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune to witness.

Only proves there was no need to change the park to AstroTurf. There's still a vast tract of land outside the stadium it could have been sited.

Kerr and miller are also coaches so if very much doubt either will be out the door.
IMO, they've designs on the management role, making them central to our current predicament, & should be emptied ASAP.
