Re: The New January Arrivals

Well we're not signing Andy Nelson. Dundee have paid cash for him, signing him on a 2&1/2 year deal!

Re: John White

This came up on SSN the other day. Now compare White's record with Spurs.

Missed 17/236 League & Cup games. Spurs won once, when he wasn't playing, over his 5 seasons.
Win % when playing 62, but only 6 without.

Re: PTFC v Falkirk : 12th January 2019

Thought that while having majority of the play Partick did very little with it. That they scored with their first chance on target pretty much sums it up. Osman was blowing out his arse at the end of the first half, & it only contributed to Falkirks dropping deeper & deeper, in the 5 mins before the...

Not an arrival but a departure many were hoping for:

Apparently he's still waiting on his taxi arriving?
It's been sitting out front for months.
Think he's probably one of the poorest CH's I've ever witnessed in NB.

I'm more interested in the outs than ins frankly.

Any scenario which leaves the opportunity for Major Disaster (Captain Muirhead) available for selection will ruin my January window!
Lewis, Bauben, Sammut & Russell, all gone.

Re: The New January Arrivals

I see Robbie Neilson has now thrown some of his players under the bus, after their result against Alloa. So we can now watch for McKinnon picking up some of his duds that he signed whilst he was manager of Utd. Add in that Utd will have more pulling power and cash than us to spend and I'm even less...

Re: TIME FOR CHANGE

Buy shares in a football club? I'd rather post my money straight down a drain.
It's bad enough getting short changed, in the entertainment stakes, through a ST.

Re: FFC v DAFC 29/12

Thank God it's another month before I have to watch that shower again. I'm having serious doubts over Ray's ability to do anything with the squad at his disposal. He keeps playing the usual suspects, with the outcome on repeat. The inability to stop gifting goals, in this division, & keep clean shee...

Re: Falkirk Racists (Alleged) v Greenock Morton

Our lack of drive and quality was evident yesterday. We had opportunities but the final ball was poor (Sammut releasing Rudden) and everything that went out to Kidd broke down as he had zero interest in getting beyond his man - Where is Dumbuya or Russell? As stated elsewhere if they can’t displace...

Re: Falkirk Racists (Alleged) v Greenock Morton

Another poor performance against a poor Morton side who were happy at us not being 3 points closer at the end of the 90. You could have hooked Sammut, Bauben & Paton after 20 mins. As the 3 in the middle were completely ineffectual. Yet Irving made zero difference when introduced. Robson was best by...

Harrison was injured in the warm up.
He'd still have been more effective than Airhead

Re: SCOTTISH CUP R3: Stenhousemuir v. Falkirk : 24th November

From last weeks Partick thread:- Id like to apologise to Thistle fans, as you must be gutted to walk away without the 3 points. Only 1 side was playing to win that game & it certainly wasn't the home side. Anybody looking for a cup shock next week, get your money on Stenny. If I say we were dreadful...

Re: Partick today.

Some folk can't see the woods for the trees. From where we are now to where we were earlier this team would've lost that game today. The crocks now will be the ones putting in the shift at the business end I have no doubt. McKinnon has earned it as he has at least managed to get the shower Hartley ...

Re: Partick today.

Pathetic and completely unacceptable. I don’t think we got in their final third until the 35th minute! We are rank, but we have to at least look like trying to win. Dennon Lewis might be crap, but even Ronaldo needs at least someone within 30 yards of him to help him out. I initially thought Dallis...

Partick today.

All the good will earned last week at EE has been given away, with the territorial advantage gifted to Thistle. No pressure on the ball, nobkdy willing to move to give options. It's "I'm standing here, pass me the ball". Whilst Thistle have been pish, we are giving a good impression of a team desper...
