Re: Ryan Blair

On the daily record website too. He's a great prospect but can see our bod taking the first bid as usual. Surely it must be time for us to do a deal with them for bringing some of their second/third string players up to us on loan. At the moment its all one way. We should be holding on to a few of ...

Re: Gordon Whyte Club Photographer

Gordons a top guy who gave more than anyone I know voluntarily to the club and will be missed, deserves a rest in retirement. Thanks Gordon. p.s. I may never get another photo celebrating a goal in the South Stand again, I will give you a clue to my identity..............I do the same job now as you...

Re: Falkirk v Rangers - Post Match Comments

For the record, I'm certain that only about 30% of penalties are justified penalties the rest are mostly cheating and incompetant referees but I thought strongly at the time Loy was fouled in the last few minutes of the game, at the game its difficult to tell sometimes. The team have been playing go...

Re: Footballer's Salary Comparison

I caught a bit of chat on Talksport yesterday with Micky Quinn and Alan Brazil and Quinn said that in 1995 when he was at Coventry he was on £2000 a week as a top earner, he left that season and the new TV deals were sorted that year and the top earner moved onto £25000 a week. Crazy cash an...

Re: Trialist

The auld alliance could be the signing factor here, we should start a few 'spot the teams' to back the board in this.

Aye noticed that too when a fair number left, it might have something to do with the shocking refereeing decisions and flashbacks to how certain teams seem to get away with murder

Re: Cup Draw - Monday at 2.00pm

Please Please lets not get dragged into a pricing structure for a Scottish Cup game being a factor in going to the game. I seen £10 being mentioned for the last game FFS I remember paying that at Brockville and wages have increased dramatically since then, we have to be realistic and the club needs ...

Thanks for the information, sounds like he would fit in the team as we really need pace from the middle of the park, especially if he likes to get behind defenses.

Re: Ticket Prices v Cowdenbeath in League Cup

The Cowdenbeath game is only one of two home games in the month of August and we will have to share the revenue from that game, we are called 'supporters' so why not do that and attend the game, if we don't turn up in numbers it will give the BOD reason to curtail finances even more.

Re: Pars v Bairns - Post Match Comments

I see the papers today have hammered the kid again by using the words butted in a fair sized article, I think the club needs to stand up for Botti with this one even though he was naive in his actions the stamp on him and the blatant cheating by Millen was far worse and blight on football as we know...

Re: Pars v Bairns - Post Match Comments

Dade......... Millen stamped down and into his leg and he is a decent sized defender, whats a man or kid supposed to do ? He cant roll about telling the ref how painfull it was and cant call the defender exactly what he thinks about it. I'm not advocating his reaction but if the lowlife hadnt collap...

Re: Pars v Bairns - Post Match Comments

Re-Botti : Silly naive reaction but him and Millen (Andy Millens son!) were niggling at each other well before the incident.Millen clearly stamped on him and Botti was daft to confront him.. I noticed the niggles as well and assume there is history between them from the youth games, was it really A...

Re: Pars v Bairns - Post Match Comments

Enjoyed the game although it was a bit lacklustre at times and did show where we need strengthening, Taiwo I have liked since he came and Imo he is a step up from Millar, his two goals were the quality we needed to lift the game. Watching the highlights its obvious that Botti never head butted the t...

Commenting on whats went before and the kid is probably looking at this site, Liam Dick is a good player and will improve just fine for us and Rowan is the player for right back f...
