Re: No more academy?

With Gallagher away to Liverpool for a reported £200k plus add-ons and Dunne possibly going to Blackburn, does anyone know how much we have now received in transfer fees thanks to the academy? Surely the running costs have been more than covered with the millions we have brought in. I could see the ...

Re: Dumbarton v Falkirk

To be fair, with limited tickets available to us there are always going to be sections of our support unhappy with how it's decided. I've only been able to go to 4 games all season so can't complain that someone who has bought a season ticket gets priority over me. It's the fairest way to maximise t...

Re: Rock the stadium

This is a very good act and im sure it will make us money. Im sure many of our fans wont know her by name but guarentee there are loads of songs shes done that youll recognise.

Will appeal to a younger crowd than our previous events so its good we have mixed it up a bit

Re: Annual General Meeting

Hopefully we will find out whats happening at the AGM then. How does depreciation count? Id have thought that would just be the clubs overall value and not an operating figure. Excuse my ignorance by the way lol Depreciation represents the writing down of an asset in order to retain funds in the bu...

Re: Annual General Meeting

Yeah but the loans were featured in previous accounts so a previous year has shown them as income to balance books so now they have been settled does this not count towards this years

Re: Annual General Meeting

It shows a loss of £129,186 but that includes us paying off the soft loans which was total of £275k so technically a profit for the year. The figure also takes into account depreciation of £122,793 but not got a clue how thats relevent.

Re: Feel good factor

Totally agree with what Dixie says. Morally it would have been a disgrace to stand in the way of Wills move. This is a guy who was so confident in his own ability he offered his services to us for free so that he could win a contract and put himself in the shop window. It's worked out brilliant for ...

Re: What are the chances of more player movement in & out in

We are looking to bring someone in on loan but is dependant on us putting out a few lads on loan ourselves. Hopefully we can bring in some creativity/goals from midfield

Re: John Rankin

John Rankin is a decent signing, think people see hes 33 and that puts them off but the guy is a great addition to our squad. That said, I totally agree that he is not a replacement for Will and we need a goalscoring/attacking midfielder or a winger to ensure Sibbs plays central. Goals from midfield...

donf think I've ever heard Olaf come out with anything positive in all my time on here. Falkirk had a great season on the back of a Scottish cup final but the only time he posts is when we lose a game or during the transfer windows #lazyposter

Can't see this being true but would be delighted with this if it is and to replace McCracken who I think is done now unfortunately. Even tho Greer is 35 he would be an improvement but I can't see a place for both him and DM

Re: Finishing the Stadium: the Council's role

Whether we need the 4th stand or not, I personally think it would be outstanding if we managed to build 1 but only if we go down the route of safe standing. This has to be the only option. Imagine the young ones who try their best to drum up some atmosphere from the South Stand, were opposite the ma...

Re: Finishing the Stadium: the Council's role

A train halt using the railway line behind the South Stand. A flyover or tunnel to cross the road and a completed Stadium with four corner pods extra training pitches and offices. Job done. That's a great shout. Seem to recall a few years ago people were campaigning for a train route into gmouth fr...
